Previously Working TL/SL LCD Fans Now Uncontrollable (e.g. 2 or 3 fans, one screen fails to respond) 1.Confirm power source SATA or an external PSU. 2.L3 latest version. 3.Uninstall it from device manager, shut down, unplug and replug the fans, then restart to force Windows to rescan USB devices. 4. Remove USB cable and clean USB path. LCD Appears in L3 Utility But Won’t Respond 1.Confirm power source SATA or an external PSU. 2.L3 latest version. 3.Switch to another tab and back, then click the LCD group again. If the fan disappears, click Restart LCD to reinitialize USB. LCD Screen(s) Missing or Unresponsive, but Device Manager Detects Device 1.Limit total connected USB devices per USB 2.0 port to 6. 2. If you have two fans in one group and three in another, and also USB from AIO/pump, we recommend using EDGE USB PWM Fan Hub(EG-HUB01) or EDGE GOLD/ Platinum PSUs. The fan is only showing partial lighting 1. Check if the power is connected to SATA. 2. Swap the receiver between different fan groups to check if it's the receiver causing the issue. Faulty Wireless Dongle – Signs and Symptoms RMA dongle 1.Binding/unbinding and lightbulb click works, but lighting signals are received inconsistently or slowly by some fans. 2.L3 takes a long time to launch or until restart. 3.Lighting effects like Quick Sync or Merge show jittering/glitching.

Have a bunch of these fans (3x on AIO rad, 3x on bottom of case, and 1x exhaust) + 3x Lian Li's TCL LCD fans + 2x strimmers. The fans themselves are excellent and work solo or in a daisy-chained group (which is the primary feature of these fans - they fact they snap together without need for additional wires). They look fantastic, especially when they're lit up - the infinity mirror center is awesome. The ecosystem though is a bit frustrating to get set up and working together. Single fans come with different connectors than the daisy-chained 3 packs. Everything needs to be hooked to Lian Li controllers that only come with the 3-packs. Controllers can't be daisy chained and each type of fan (SL INF - these ones - TCL and the UNF/AIO fans) need their own separate controller - which means your USB bus is too flooded with nested connections and you need to use a separate USB cable routed through the back of your case to your motherboard's I/O instead of using USB headers (which you likely don't have enough of). Lian Li sells a power supply that helps solve this issue, but it's also an issue they've unnecessarily created. Overall, great fans.. but the ecosystem took forever to set up (actually get working flawlessly), requires too many cables and controller boxes, and requires a workaround of routing a cable outside your case). The software also isn't the greatest. I'd do it all again, simply because you only have to do it once per PC build - which should be once every 4-6 years. However, there's no doubt Lian Li has complicated what should have been a simpler solution. ... show more

Love these fans! Coolest pc builds deserve the coolest fans!! Six months and not a single issue. Love the lcd customization and the light preselects are awesome! Ps don’t mind the background noise as it’s an air purifier and not the fans themselves.

I freakin love these fans. Premium, worth every penny. They feel sturdy in hand and look amazing. You can put anything you want on the LCD's and orient them as you please and they look bright and vibrant. Make sure you use the provided sata cable for power, using your own just wont work for some reason. Mine flickered and would reset every few seconds until i switched it. Otherwise 10/10 fans, glad i took a chance on these. ... show more

At first I was like why do I need a fan with an LCD? Now I want more lol. The wireless function of these fans is really good. The software is easy to use and the ability to put custom videos and pictures is great. I love the look of the fans and wish I had switched sooner. Just having one cable instead of multiple is a game changer. Linking the fans together was easy too and fast. No more 10 plus fan cables to plug in for me lol. The LCD and colors are bright and beautiful. These fans do a nice job being quiet and keeping my case cool. Overall they feel well made and the reverse blade design makes for a beautiful looking case. ... show more
