The seller replied the same night I contacted them that the shipment had a 2nd box (wish I'd known at the time of purchase) - it arrived 4 days later. I assembled the daybed today-it's beautiful & sturdy. Slats are a good thickness. Only issue-1 of the hex screws wasn't bored, so had to use tiny pliers to tighten it. I'm very happy with this daybed-it's a beautiful addition to my spare room! Great responsiveness of the seller-big kudos for excellent customer service!

Beautiful once assembled but VERY difficult to assemble. At least for me. I can usually put anything together with instructions but this was tough. **Not all the pre-drilled holes were ever drilled.**I had to do that myself. The instructions say you only need a screwdriver and a hammer...that use of power tools voids warranty but what to do? Please be very aware of the weight limit too. Long story there but I ended up putting a metal base frame inside instead of the little pine slats for increased sturdiness. No doubt, it's gorgeous and size is perfect but someone better than me should put one together. It wasn't two hours, it was a two day project, lol. They do recommend it as a two person project...but we don't all have help! But beautiful, yes! And a good value but assembly means I worked hard for it. I still haven't added the side tables (as shown) but I do really like it.

My elderly uncle so pleased to be able to continue living independently in his small studio space. This daybed was not only sturdy and adds attractive decor, but it efficiently combines usefulness in a compact way: bed, couch, 2 spaceous under drawers and 2 end tables! I was able to eliminate other furniture and create a homey place for his comfort and pleasure! Thank you to whoever designed this piece.

My brother had to put it together, took about 3 hours and he knows what he is doing, he has put several furniture items together in his life so this one is not a quick thing to put together but so worth it, sturdy and very nice looking. We got the grey colored frame. Nice!

A train wreck from start to finish, honestly. Everything was relatively fine, with some confusing instructions but then when I got to the slats everything started falling apart. The slats were way too short to work with, to the point that replacement slats had to eventually be bought elsewhere after days of unsuccessful attempts to screw the short slats given in. What was meant to be a 2 day project max was turned into a 2 week one. It is a beautiful bed and i would've loved to keep it, but I didn't buy the bed wanting to go on a wild goose chase just to make it work. Not worth the money or the excess of time spent building it.
