It is really difficult for one person to hold the seat and back together and simultaneously to align the screws and tighten them after everything else is also aligned. One screw just spins around and is not holding anything together, so that could be dangerous. The chair is moderately comfortable once its together. Not a Bad Chair but it's really not a high back. I'm 5'10" and when I think of high back I'm thinking I can actually rest my head on the back of the chair.... this is not the case enough though you think so becuase of the padding. This chair basic goes to my shoulders so rest the head is not an option. The chair is somewhat study but I'm only 200 pounds, if you're 300 pounds this is not the chair for you, it will break due to the plastic armrest which the chair relies on for stability. In the recline position, with the chair in the lowest possible setting to the floor, my legs are barely touching the floor, so a lot of pressure just above the knees which after a while stops the circulation in my lower legs... so not exactly ergonomic. ... show more

What I love about the chair: Comfortable, soft, easy glide on carpet, great seat positioning /length for ppl with long legs, stops right behind my knees, nice recliner.. What makes me want or need to buy a new chair: the L shape back has no back support from mid back all the way up to your shoulders (10” gap) sitting up straight. I would like to start off by saying it's a very nice looking chair. The high back definitely encourages a solid posture when sitting at a desk. The faux leather has held up very nicely from daily use for the past 3 to 4 months. It's somewhat comfy to sit in... at first. However after a little bit, it definitely just feels like you're sitting on hard plastic and metal. I bought the "Big and Tall" version in hopes it would offer a little more cushion and support as I knew I would be sitting at my office desk for quite a while, However, it did not offer the expected comfort. It is very easy to put together, and for the most part extremely sturdy. However, it's just not comfortable if you're sitting in it longer than 45 min. If you're working from home, gaming, working on personal projects (media editing, programming, etc.) or anything that would put you at a desk and chair for a long period of time, I would not recommend this product. If you are only using your computer seldomly, and using it more as a decoration piece to avoid the "Office Space" vibes, then it's a decent chair. ... show more
