This is one of those lights I’ve been eying for quite some time, and should’ve got it sooner! The color of the white light is very warm and soothing. I looked at the manual for 2 seconds and good to go. Simply touch the light for 2 seconds and it goes into color mode, so you can start the party! The light is very sensitive to touch. I was kind of nervous about that part because that could get super annoying if it didn’t work very well. The light is a little bigger than I thought it would be but not obtrusive. This is not a smart light or Alexa or anything like that, but it does what it’s supposed to very well. I think this light would be extremely ideal for living room end tables or bedroom night stands but I have it on my TV stand on the side, because it looks cool yo. It is not super bright, but that did not bother me. I like its size and the fact that it has no parts that can break or get lost. The light feels very warm. I wanted a light that could gently illuminate my face during winter Zoom sessions and was not dissapointed. But the on/off /mode sensor... was a different story. It works when it works. I got scientific and tested it using the same finger in the same position. I had 75% success rate getting it to turn on. Once it is on, it is not hard to turn up the intensity. The color mode will appear if you touch any part of the lamp while it is on. This defeats its portability because who will want to move the lamp, if it is hard to turn it on or off? The color setting options is super limited. It just cycles slowly through the rainbow and it's a pain to stop it where you want. You get no option to adjust the brightness of a color. The media could not be loaded. I bought this lamp as an easy to use for an entry lamp, and wow, they made this lamp awesome and super bright. The color change mode is great for at night to help with mood setting. If you need a great easy to use and bright. I use the rotating colored lights when we are not home so it looks like there's a party going on. ;-P The top 2 white light settings are fine for reading. This makes a great bedside lamp. Not big enough to cover the whole room with light, but just right to read by, or get up in the middle of the night by. No fumbling for an on/off switch. Just a touch turns it on, and 3 progressively bright levels are available. The first level is just right - no shocking bright glare to jolt you awake - just a warm glow. And just for fun, there is a color show available, which moves through the color spectrum - roygbiv - and can be set to hold just one color, whatever your mood dictates.
