When we first were building it we thought the headboard legs were missing but they are stored behind the headboard, you just have to pull the black cover behind the headboard back lol. I was worried about the sturdiness of this frame given the lower price tag. The slats included screws and Velcro and the frame pieces are held on by large bolts but also a tongue and groove system. The lights work well too. My daughter loves being able to adjust the colors, patterns and brightness. The sync to music was ok but really not great. My Daughters love their bed so bad, I have no complaints, there bed was easy to install, the manual was easy to access, very strong, very comfortable, don't need any backspring, I do fall asleep with my kids sometimes, very firm great value, good for your money, almost a year and not one problem.
