Applicable glass type Suitable for all smooth surface (non-bumpy) glass. Not suitable for rough surface and porous surface glass such as wood, tile or glass. Even for the structure of laminated glass and mesh glass, the surface is flat (smooth) and can be used safely. However, in areas exposed to direct sunlight for a long period of time (such as the Equatorial region), glass with steel wire or mesh, and Double Glazing and other films with a high heat absorption rate, heat cracking may occur.     • Great to keep nosy neighbors out of your business

I have the nosiest neighbors in the world. They literally put a picnic table directly across from our living room window and would stare in at us. I hate answering the door, but my neighbor would come over and be like “I know you’re in there I saw you through the window, open up!” It just became a lot. Their kids would also be like “we saw you in your house!” Super creepy. I started keeping the curtains and blinds closed but that’s not a good way to live your life, so I bought this product. I can still see outside great through the film but when I go outside it looks like a mirror! They definitely can’t see inside anymore. At nighttime when the sun goes down they can see inside so I have to shut the blinds and curtains, but at least it’s not a 24/7 thing anymore. Another bonus we didn’t even think about was keeping the house cool during the summer! Our AC doesn’t reach upstairs very well so it’s always in the 90’s up there in the summer because there’s a bright window and hardly any insulation in general. We put this film on the window since it faces our neighbor’s house and I swear it has been consistently much cooler upstairs, so much so that it’s livable up there!! Does it’s job but there is bubbling in the corners. I used on my back door that had square window panes. Can’t see in or out but still allows sunlight through. My MIL helped apply, she’s experienced with it, so I don’t feel the bubbling is due to improper placement.

I installed this on my west facing back door that gets 100% sun during the hottest part of the day. This product reduces the light and heat from that exposure greatly. You can still see out, though it is like looking through a tinted window with slight distortion. It has a mirrored finish from the outside looking in, while not completely blocking, it does provide decent privacy. It was slightly difficult to install though I did attempt a single sheet, full door installation on my own. It has been several months since the install and it has stayed in place perfectly. I wanted privacy in a window where the curtains are pulled aside due to an air conditioner. But unsure if my length of stay in a rental apt, I opted for this vinyl instead of an adhesive version. After two months it looks as if it was installed yesterday, and the frosted effect offers 100% translucent privacy. I will order this again when needed. i had 2 windows side by side, although this one looks great and does a good job at privacy, it feels hotter to the touch than another window which had a thicker mirror tint. Was pretty easy to install, be sure to use ample soapy water. It still makes the room feel cooler
