- PLASTIC BONSAI POTS: 5 self-watering pots are made of premium plastic, sturdy and not easy to fade. The mesh with small holes designed at the bottom can drain away water but prevent soil from falling. Each is 6.3"L x 4.7"W x 2" in dimension, and great ideal for germination and small plants growing. But when it grows to 2-3 inch, please transplant the plant out for more space and nutrition.
- COCONUT COIR SOIL BLEND: Our bonsai soil contains coconut coir, which is good to germination and can promote the growth of plants. It is compressed into soil discs (1.5" in thickness, each soil disc weighs 2oz) for easy package and can expand into 10 times as large as what it was after absorbing the water. 5 soil discs are sufficient enough for the beginning of the plant growing.

As a plant addict, I always wanted a Bonsai Tree! This little kit has 5 cute little pots for your 5 different varieties of trees. It comes with complete, specific instructions, including soaking the seeds 1st. This is a very important step in growing many trees, shrubs & even some flower varieties. This would be a super great gift for a child interested in horticulture! They would be a great gift to give to anyone who loves plants like me. I cannot wait until they start growing. I will be reading books about Bonsai while I eagerly await my "Precious" little trees to sprout! I think this was great value for the money because it includes everything you need to start. I know when they get larger, they will have to have wire wrapping around certain parts to control what grows & what changes their shapes. I love to continue to learn new things at my age. LOL I may have to wait a while to tell you if they sprout well. I am sure they will because the growing medium is like little peat pots.

Do not buy this brand. I purchased it twice & followed instructions to a T! Nothing sprouted. I cannot get a replacement or a refund. I will not be using this vendor ever. Very disappointed

The kit is great for getting started. I managed to get the acacia and black pine to sprout but the others did not. I'm still waiting on the japenese maple and cherry blossom which I don't think will. My wisteria molded. Out of the ones who started I only have 2 acacia remaining and the black pine look half dead however they are still rooted in the soil so im hopeful they are just unhappy. Really bummed as I was trying for the cherry blossom and maple. Also look up how to start the seeds. I tried 3 or 4 different methods per tree type. Some worked better than others. I have no idea why my cherry blossom and maple won't sprout

I bought 2 of these kits for our New Years team meeting. I germinated them myself and then we all planted together as a reprensatation of growth for 2025. Only one person even received a sprout after 14 days. Soooo…. I carefully germinated all the second kits seeds and planted and not a single sprout 😔 I look like a failure and so does 2025 according to the sentiment. Ready to buy every employee a live tree to represent growth because these kits aren’t”t dong it.
