---MARCH 7, 2018 Update ---- I installed the wire harness on my car for the HIDs and I haven't had any issues with the lights flickering or shutting off so far. The flickering of the light bulbs must of caused a premature malfunction of the bulb due to the car confusing the voltage necessary to power the HID bulbs. I will keep track of the time on how long these bulbs last on my car since there is a 2 year warranty,im expecting it to last 2 years. If you notice your lights flicker when you turn them on, than I believe the solution would be the HID wire harness to provide continuous power to the light bulb when the car is on. It's been working for me so far. I will update later on about life expectancy of bulbs and I added an extra star to the review. It's not 5 stars because it took about 5 days for the replacement light bulb to come in the mail and they sent me the two light bulbs separately due to their error. So I was driving around with my high beams on for about a week and a half. So I bought these light bulbs for my vehicle that has custom lights. Once installed, they had a nice white hue which was expected since thats the color I bought unlike some other ones I bought. These are great lights that light up nice, however, I dropped two stars mainly to the reason of how long it lasted and the warranty issue I had with them. First, I bought these bulbs in Sep16, 2017 and one of them burnt out in Feb 2018. So I dropped a star off because it did not last long. I noticed that they would flicker on and off and sometimes shut off when I'm driving. I did some research and found out that some vehicles have issue with keeping continous power to the bulbs. I just ordered a relay harness to see if it will solve my issue and if it does I will add a star to the review. The reason why I dropped another star making it a 3 star was because when my light bulb went out, I contacted HID warehouse about the issue and they wanted me to remove my bulbs and check (which is understandable) and then cut the wires of the bulb and send them a photo of them. So here I am waiting for the bulbs to come in because both of them ended up going bad (they received a picture of two bulbs) and driving around for a week without my low beams working, so instead I'm using my high beams to get around. Thinking that it would only take 2 days for me to receive the new replacement bulbs under the warranty, I got a package with only one bulb. Why the hell am I going to be driving around with one bulb for?! I'd rather take the risk of driving with high beams. So I had to purchase a new pair online because at least those will probably come in sooner then the ones they send under warranty. ... show more

I have been using these HIDS for the past 7 months now and they have served me well. I estimate around 200 running hours on this pair. If you look at my photo for comparison on one side I am using a brand new pair of HB 6000k and on the other: HID warehouse 5000k. This setup is being used with a 50 watt ballast. Anytime you use a higher wattage ballast, the listed color temp is expected to color shift down -1000. IE if it's 5000k it should appear more like 4000k. In this photo the HB appear more like 4300k and the HID warehouse look more like 6500k, for whatever the reason, they are both off. Brightness: It isn't completely fair to compare a brand new bulb to an used bulb because HID bulb brightness will decline over time with use. Another thing is with the bulb temp; lower temp bulbs will output more lumen and appear brighter to the human eye. BUT XB is undoubtable brighter If I had to guess i'd say they are 35-40% brighter than the HID warehouses. Price: HID warehouse bulbs are 3.3X cheaper than the other brand. Longevity: I've only used them for 7 months. If you are able to get 1.5-2 years off these bulbs I'd say it's a success. Conclusion: For the price to performance ratio, they have met and exceeded my expectations. Buy these if you are on a budget ... show more

But twice now I've received the right sizes but one the passenger side of my 05 jeep just will not allow for the pull to lock into place and the driver side if it does it shuts off after about 15 min of use low and high beam sets same thing strange since its only these that give me this problem seriously not sure I am going to try this a third time before getting it solved ... show more
