These were installed in a 2011 Hyundai Elantra. The bulbs themselves were as easy to install as the original incandescent bulbs, although this vehicle requires removal of the entire tail light assembly to replace this bulb. This bulb produces a more pure Red color than the original incandescent bulb. It looks very nice and bright. The brake light is noticeably brighter when the brake is pressed too, although likely less difference than the original bulb. The design of the bulb with LEDs all around plus additional LEDs facing front provide perfect light distribution. They look great. The bulb is also significantly cooler than the original bulbs. The socket was showing signs of heat from the original bulbs, so this should prevent future damage. It will also use less energy from the electrical system, another plus. It is too soon to know how long this bulb will last. Theoretically they should significantly outlast the incandescent bulbs, but I've had mixed success with LED bulbs. Expectation of long life is why I chose this LED bulb though. This vehicle requires the entire tail light assembly to be removed to replace this bulb, and incandescent bulbs have already failed several times.     • An absolute must on motorcycles.

There are many cheaper automotive LEDs out there. All fall short of the iBrightstar units. I already had them on one motorcycle (for almost 3 years) and was very satisfied. So, I clicked on these. I replaced all four turn signals, and the tail/brake lights. Just to check, I replaced one of the old school glass bulb taillights on my second bike. At twilight, I tested the taillight beam of the iBrightstar and it is as bright as the original brakelight. And the brakelights are now super bright and VERY visible to cars behind. A rear-ender in your car or truck nets you a sore neck. On a motorcycle, you stand a good chance of losing your life. So, these are very affordable "life insurance" for me. ... show more

I hadn’t realized my Wrangler TJ’s OEM tail/brake light 1157 bulb was at a 45 degree angle inside the housing. LEDs are blinding head on but not so good at an angle. This LED bulb has a metal ring around the 45 degree mark which is line of sight for drivers behind me. I replaced the turn signals/running lights on my motorcycle with these. The difference in brightness is considerable. The energy savings is even more important on a motorcycle if you have any heated accessories or auxiliary lights, as motorcycle charging systems are typically weak. BUT! I needed LED bulbs because I installed a back-up camera and the camera wasn't quite getting enough power with the incandescent bulbs. Installed these, camera now gets plenty of juice and works great. They seem brighter than the stock bulbs which is an added bonus. Only have had these for 2 months.

These were super easy to install on my 2015, Mazda 3. These lights are easily two or three times brighter than the stock OEM lights. Please note, you will need a resistor for each bulb, as these LED lights do not use as much power as the OEM lights, and the car thinks that there is an out bulb, causing hyperflash. ... show more

Very bright, makes backing much safer. Major visibility improvement. Lots of room in the tail light housing on Gen 2 Prius. Could go with a longer bulb with more leds to be even brighter. These are plenty bright though.
