This turns out to be one of the most superior snorkel sets out there. Below are some key pro's and cons my wife picked up from using it: 1) The lens is of superb quality. We've rubbed and cleaned it with scotch pads and there isn't a scratch on it. 2) The anti-fog wax held well. No fogging and no signs of anti-fog dropping efficacy. 3) The lens is quite wide, allows for a very large view angle, can see even on the side of her sight. 4) This snorkel is made for wider faces. My wife's faces is on a wider flatter side of the population. This lens fits her face well. Water is sealed tight on her face. I couldn't don this on my face because my face width is on the skinnier side, and my eye socket indention is a bit deeper. So my wife was the perfect candidate to try this snorkel set. 5) The fins work well, the adjustable and quick release buckle works well, too. It's very convenient and very secure in the water. My wife mentions that after donning the fins, it never did slip out of her ankle, and she didn't have it on the tightest setting. 6), for the price, this set beats a lot of other sets, and the build quality of this set is superb. By all means, this should not compare to a professional scuba snorkel set, but for leisure, non-expert scuba diving, this set is geared just right to have some fun. ... show more

I've been diving for over 30 years and Padi certified. Ordered these for my 13yo son to use snorkeling with me at the beach. He wears a size 9 shoe and these fins fit him fine. The fins are a short style which I prefer for kids at the beach. The mask also fits well as does the snorkel. The snorkel works surprisingly well and he has no issues with using it at the surface, diving, coming back up and clearing it for his next breath. The mask fit well and remains snug while having a fairly nice and large viewing area. We've been to the beach 3 times now with this set and I've jumped in myself with them. Nice quality snorkeling setup for the kids or adults. I wouldn't use these for diving myself but super fun for an afternoon of snorkeling. ... show more

This kids' mask and fin snorkel set is a nice option for young snorkelers. The mask appears to be of good quality, featuring a tempered glass lens for durability. The fins also show decent quality and good construction. However, it's worth noting that the fins seem to run a bit big and are more suitable for children aged 7-10, which means they may not fit younger kids. In my case, it looks like I'll have to wait a couple of years until my young daughter can use them. The set includes a carrying bag, which is a convenient addition for organized beach travel with the snorkel kit. It comes with a mask, a dry snorkel, and adjustable fins, providing a complete package for kids' snorkeling. The overall quality of the set is good, and it should probably last until your child grows out of it. Depending on usage, passing it from an older sibling to a younger child is probably feasible. The only downside is that the snorkel itself seems to be made of a cheaper grade of plastic. This is somewhat surprising considering the overall quality of the kit. I especially do not like the top portion (yellowish tip), as it looks like it is made from a very low-grade material. Despite this setback, the kids' mask and fin snorkel set remains a good choice for young snorkelers. The quality of the mask and fins, along with the inclusion of essential components and a convenient carrying bag, make it a good option for kids to enjoy their snorkeling adventures. This snorkeling kit worked great for my pre-teen during our vacation in Pacific. Goggles were comfy, we almost never had a problem with the tube (maybe on couple occasions during 1 week of use), and the flippers were convenient to wear for a boy. Five stars!

My 8 year old uses this to snorkel in the lake. Everything worked great except the fins. They are too big but he will grow into them. I would say this set is geared more towards adults or older teens.
