Fit right into our 2009 Scion xB. Took about two minutes. Don't touch the bulb with your fingers. Fingerprints on a halogen bulb lead to very short life. I used nitrile gloves (a fresh set so no oil on them). Wrapping the bulb in clean paper to handle it or just only handling it by the base works too. You don't actually have to handle the quartz glass part to install it if you're careful. There's a red silicone sealing ring that always seems to stick to the headlight enclosure when you take out the bulb. Just pull it out with your fingers. The new one already has a new ring installed. If you're trying to install it and it's not going in, that ring being stuck in there will do exactly that :) If you're replacing one of these because it burned out, the other one is probably not far behind it. This was the second one I bought and the two went out about a month apart. Next time I'll replace these in pairs. The installed bulbs were original equipment, so that's 17 years of life. Better I'd say to buy another 17 years instead of a couple months before you have to dig in there again :) ... show more

I got CARSPARKLE H11/H8/H9 Bulbs for my 2011 Elantra since I live in a more rural area. I need to make sure I have a good throw of light ahead of me since there isn't any streetlights nearby. They were very easy to install and I had no issues doing so. I like the cotton gloves they sent to make sure dirt and oil from my hands didn't get on anything. As for longevity, I can't say yet. I will update this review when I see them starting to degrade. I installed one on the passenger side and left the driverside alone to see if there was a difference. There was no difference from previous brand I had in there to these. The light throw was about the same distance. So, overall, the price is good if you want to upgrade from the regular halogen bulbs. There might be brighter bulbs with longer throws, but these are a good start. ... show more
