I ordered these LED's to replace a cheaply built set of LED's on my 2008 Dodge Ram 2500 HD 6.7L. Installation was simple, even though on this series truck you have to remove the entire headlight housing to replace the bulbs. I also ordered the canbus error free decoders for this set of H-13 just in case i needed them, but knowing I needed them on my old LED's I erred on the side of caution and was glad I did. There were a few minor issues with the connections that were easily overcome with a file and a wrap of linerless rubber tape and an overwrap of Scotch 88 electrical tape to lock them in and insure water tightness. I adjusted the aim down just a bit due to the brightness of the bulbs, and was impressed by the focus and cutoff line even in Dodge's worst ever built headlight housing. I am impressed by the brightness, color, and evenness of the pattern. Complete coverage with a nice wide beam that stretches into the sides of the road beautifully. It is needed here due the large number of wildlife in the area. Not sure how often I will even need the high beams due to the brightness and coverage of the standard low beams. I am sure on these back country roads I will use them at times just to be safer. We shall see about longevity on this set, as my previous set of non-Hikari bulbs began to fade and fail after 6 months. Customer service was impressive and quick to respond to even the simple questions and reached out with offers for assistance quickly. Impressive units so far!

So this company has come a long way since my first set in 2016/17. They now are adjustable so no more redrilling the set screw location. The high and low beams actually work! The high beam is actually useful now. WOW! These are definitely worth a try. My only issue so far is the standard halogen bulb on the h13 has a metal spring detent that keeps the bulb from turning back out of the housing. These do not have any detent, so when you go to adjust the position of the led the whole lock turns with it. So when adjusting you must hold the main keeper still while turning the led center during adjustment. Other then that they seem to work pretty flawlessly. I kept my old canbus adapters incase they start to flicker. I also was worried these may be too bright but definitely not the case for me. Properly adjusted lights make a huge difference for everyone on the road! Adjust your lights and don’t blind everyone else on the road. IM TALKING TO YOU DELAWAREANS

Although the lights have a very good brightness, they lack distance projection. They illuminate very well up to 50 meters and to the sides, but for long distances of more than 50 meters they fall short. Also keep in mind that your vehicle may need a canbus unit, otherwise these lights could start blinking when going from low to high and when turning the car off.

I loved these lights while they worked. Then they stayed flickering a year and a half into using them. I noticed it said these lights are guaranteed up to 50,000 hours. I barely have 7,000 hours on these lights before they went faulty. I tried buying new resistors to help resolve the issue but that didn't help either.

The are nice and bright and leave no dark spots on your car(2011 Ford Focus) they fit into head housing easily. they cut off and put light on road not in other drivers eyes( low beam at least). Far better than brighter than any halogen I've ever bought. On low beam the light in front of car shows everything. High beam kicks out light far enough your not overunning lights at higher speeds. Only been installed for about a month, but have had no problems with flickering or anything else for that matter. I've yet to hear any noise from these but summer is coming and time will tell. Will update post with pics soon. Got these on a sale for price of the older models so value was great plus the upgrade feature made these a great choice. Its second time purchasing this brand of bulb and will be my choice next time as well.

Lights are so bright compared to oem halogen plus customer service is the best i had a small fliker in my lights contacted customer service they sent me out some resistors that arive in 2 days and fixed the problem now all my cars have this lights recommende 100%

I absolutely LOVE these bulbs. I originally bought a set a few years ago and was very impressed with the light quality. I had one issue when one of the bulbs quit working, but I contacted Hikari and they sent me a brand new and upgraded version. I installed those and had no other issues and they are still working to this day. However, I saw that there was a newer and better version available recently, so I upgraded to those. The light quality and brightness is even more amazing than my old Hikari bulbs. I love the fact that these bulbs are easy to install and are adjustable inside the headlight housing to get proper reflection through a factory headlight housing. I will continue to buy Hikari bulbs as long as they keep up this quality and service!

I bought the best ones they offered, Acme-X. I'm glad I went with these because because man is it worth it. I can see so much further and everything in front of me is a whole lot brighter. Make sure you position them correctly. Also I did get an error message on the dashboard but most cars won't give you one. I simply contacted Hikari and they sent me their own warning cancellers (resistors). They work for most cars but since my stock headlights were 55watts it simply wasn't a strong enough resistor for me. But Hikari didn't stop there, they sent me yet another one too free of charge of course and I simply plugged it in and it works perfectly. Great customer service to say the least. They weren't willing to stop until their customer was happy

The ones I got sent I believe are its predecessor. They look similar to the picture, but aren't wireless like they're supposed to be. And in a comment I had read before purchasing, he said these were too bright and went back to the "Eyes Of Megatron" which the ones I received are called. Today, it was around 8°F and around 4a.m. so it was pitch black outside, I had been driving for around 30 min already, and was using brights, but dimming them for other people. Well, I went to put them back on bright, and they just turned off while I was driving 55mph about to go around a curve. Luckily they came back on when I switched back to low, but it did it a few times, then worked normal again Luckily. Also, the bright doesn't get brighter, just changes the elevation to see further. The low is just basically it on bright, so other cars think you're bright lighting them, so they will get mad and bright light you. I wish I would have gotten the correct ones either way. Hope this helps.

This is by far the brightest and strongest lightbulbs I’ve used.. it has a strong beam and goes out very far.. but sadly Im returning it because it doesn’t fit very well on my 2010 Grand Marquis because of the reflector light design.. it doesn’t spread to the side very well and the high beam is not really high and goes up just a little.. Its a high quality and very bright and beautiful color and I would buy it again if they update the design a bit.. I believe this is the best option for reflector headlights for under 100$. I wouldn’t even consider a different option if I had another car!!
