  • Jeep XJ frameless
Coated, wide hooks for wheel attachment. Instructions are included, surprisingly larger than I expected, but not heavy. Folds/ collapses small enough to store, but big enough for my wheels(15). Not sure what size it works up to, but seems perfect on mine. Due to the unibody design, HiLift couldn't lift my jeep without damage, so this provides lifting power directly to the wheel. • Necessary Jeep Addition for a HiLift Jack
A JKU stock Jeep has no lift point that can be reached by the short beak of Hi-lift without causing damage and the Lift-mate is a necessary addition. Most folks lift on their steel bumpers but the plastic bumpers of a stock Jeep well be damaged. The plastic covered hooks fit into openings on the wheel. I found no damage on my stock Rubicon wheels after using the Lift-mate. You do effectively lose about 6-18" of lifting height due to the Lift-mate straps and with our 42" Hi-lift we just barely got the tire off the ground and we exchanged the 42" for a 48" Hi-lift. An advantage of the Lift-Mate is that when lifting the wheel vs the chassis you dont have to lift higher due to the tire suspension dropping as you raise the chassis. A bit concerning was the rest pad of the Lift-mate sits on the tire and pushes against it potentially breaking the bead and releasing the tire pressure. We felt that we needed to inflate the tire to a hi level of PSI to help the tire bead from releasing. I think this is a necessary addition when using a Hi-Lift. ... show more

  • Glad I got this one
This one wasn't available awhile back so I bought one from another vender. It wouldn't grab and hold my wheel to my liking so it went back. I bought this to keep in my kit and glad I did. Fits wheels much better than the other one ever did. If you have a Hi-Lift jack then stick with the tried and true Hi-Lift accessories ... show more

  • Broke on first use…
Used it to get the tires on my ran 3500 high enough to stuff wood chips underneath and get out of a soft field. It lifted the truck and did the job, but I didn’t expect it to be single use. I did also bend my farm jack so overloading may have been a factor.

  • Great for keeping center of gravity low while jacking
Pros: This handy little gizmo lets you lift your rig without decompressing your suspension. What's that mean, you say? When you jack up a vehicle on the frame, you have to lift the weight of the vehicle off of your suspension until the wheel/tire finally come up off of the ground. On a vehicle with lots of articulation and down-travel, your suspension may soon exceed your jack. But by jacking up the wheel instead of the frame, the weight of the vehicle stays on the suspension, so you don't have to jack up nearly as far. This is great for keeping your center of gravity nice and low when jacking. One other note... if you have to change your wheel/tire, this gizmo won't work - you'll have to jack at the frame so you can get the wheel off. In that situation, use a ratchet strap to cinch your suspension up to the frame. That'll prevent your suspension from "unloading" - so you can still get the tire off of the ground with minimal jacking. Cons: Oh, right... this is a review, not a Hi-Lift tutorial. Um, no cons really. It's a great item. Bottom line: If you actually 'wheel that mall-crawler, then you should have one of these in your recovery bag. ... show more

  • The name of this product is Perfect, 'Lift Mate'
March 2017 Hi-Lift Jack LM-100 Lift Mate Cost: $40.92...little pricey Started out giving this product only 4-Stars due to cost Haven't had this product long, after using it with the Hi Lift jack, i now can appreciate the jack more (safety issues) This product takes a well know jack that has a history of being unstable, to a new level of lifting with confidence. There are many times when lifting a vehicle there is no safe contact point for the jack. The name of this product is Perfect, 'Lift Mate'. This product is rated at 5klbs Comes with heavy duty hooks at both ends that can mount to a spoke wheel or bumper The straps and stitching are excellent Someone posted that theirs had a smell to it, my does not Made in the USA Lable attached to product with ratings Comes with clear instructions for intended use Overall quality is excellent I now have two products that are a MUST have for the Hi Lift jack and this is one of the two and that's why after using this product i changed from 4 to 5-Stars Shipped By Amazon Order Process Simple Confirmation Yes/email Tracking Yes/online Delivery Small Problem, but corrected Packaging Excellent Reviewer KC ... show more
