Should I Buy It?

If you are comfortable with assembling and potentially troubleshooting a mechanical product, then this could be a satisfying purchase given its price-performance ratio. It's particularly recommended for those with mechanical engineering backgrounds or interests. However, if you're not inclined toward hands-on tinkering, you might want to consider other options or be prepared to seek professional help for setup and potential issues.

  • Nice for the price for sure
No problems at all. Bought this in December of 2022 and just put it together April of 2023. Only took about 8 hours without following any instructions. It was fun like putting a puzzle together. Very Simple , took my time. I had noticed that one reviewer mentioned that some of the holes did not line up so he / she re drilled the holes. DO NOT DO THIS! The holes may seem out of alignment but they are not. It just takes some effort and patience to place these screws but you will find that it strengthens the whole structure of the rear and front fenders. Anyway for me it is a great machine. Once put together it started up no problem. Hint: When first starting any new motor do not put any gas in so it will not start. Turn over and crank the motor 20- to even 50 times but not all at once maybe 10 cycles each time so not to burn the starter out. Pause one minute between each cycle. You need to remember this is a brand new motor and has been sitting after manufactured for some time so by cycling the motor you get the oil to move and lubricate all the bearings , connecting rods and help seat the piston rings. After cycling add your gas and let run at as low as R.P.M. Possible without stalling to break in the motor for 15 to 20 minutes. Then Take it for a ride around for 3-4 hours at low R.P.M. As you are learning to get used to this you are also breaking in the motor plus all the movable parts as like wheel bearings, Transmission, Ball joints etc. These all need to be broken in too. You shouldn't need a new Carb. Breaking in the motor and all is the most important. I rode this all around today and it is a lot of fun. You will have fun too if you know what you are doing. I don't work for this company. I have been a mechanical engineer for quite sometime, so I have plenty of experience. Lastly take your time and have the patience! And you will have some fun. Oh one more thing , the back plastic cargo bed. On mine started to vibrate and make a chatter noise at certain R.P.M's . If you have this problem as I ? I just loosened all the screws and cut and place foam pipe insulation around the steel frame and then re-tightened the screws and the noise was gone. One length of foam pipe insulation at a hardware store? Hmm? $1.00 lol and that was it. Good Luck with this. I say it is well worth it. Very well made. ... show more

  • You get what you pay for
Out of the box assembly was not to bad. The plastic molded body parts didn't fit to good. Had to Redhill a few holes. Frame seems solid. Looks like decent no name 198cc engine. Electric start is nice. Real hard to get tobthe dip stick to checkbthe oil. If you have big feet don't get this. Trying to shift you don't have much room for your feet. If you have over a 10 shoe size be aware your going to have issues. Suspension and rear disk brakes are nice. Carrying racks are decent. Don't like the placement of the kill switch, to easy to hit. Steering is tight, it may loosen a bit The bad out of the box it would not run, spent "HOURS" figuring it out. Would hit with starting fluid then die. Tookvthe carb off to clean it. What a piece of junk. The bowl is "sealed", you can't take it apart. Only one adjustment, the idle screw. Had to order a replacement carb. Then bouncing w-nails with the seller asking if I had a professional tech look at. They wanted me to pay for it out of my pocket for them to send a $25.00 replacement carb. When I informed them I had been an AFLCIO apprentice mechanic years ago and ripped multiple engines apart. They decided they would send my a replacement. They sent me the factory website link. I found the part copied the link, sent it to them. I got a response they could not open their own link. Finally I told them the page and it was a blasted car carburetor for the ATV they just me. They figured it out They would not reimburse me for any of my time citing Amazon restrictions. This was for my Nephew as a gift. So While waiting for them to figure things out. I ordered a replacement off of Amazon, had it at my Nephews in 3 days. I had to make a 3 hour round trip drive to put it on last weekend. The replacement could be taken apart, had both fuel air & idle adjustments. Still could not get it running with the replacement. Finally tore the replacement carb apart, cleaned it and got it running. Had to adjust the clutch a bit. Finally seems to be running. My Nephew is loving it, he just has to get used to a clutch. For the price one can't complain. Since a name brand will run you $5,000.00 to $10,000.00 for a 500cc. Just make sure you can work on small engines before you think about one of these. P.S. still waiting on the replacement carb from the seller. They were throwing in googles, grips and gloves for my trouble." Big Deal". ... show more
