    • Buyer Beware - Single Disc Brake Bike garbage
Review 3: buyer beware. Do not buy from this company. You will regret it. You are buying a Walmart style bike. Very misleading advertising about disc brakes. Only the front is disc. The derailers are total trash. It’s so frustrating. I’ve spent as much trying to keep this bike going as I could have just bought a new bike at this point. Bike wouldn’t shift right from the beginning. Local store got it close but it barely drug. Now the derailer needs replaced. They are garbage. Save your money. You will get this same type of bike at Walmart. That is the quality. At least Walmart you can take it back. Firms are bent. One rim was bent from shipping but wasn’t too bad so we decided it was ok. It was a present. Worst transaction I’ve ever paid for. I will now be buying a new bike for my son. Review 2: Looks like they took down my original review. It was not good. We originally had problems with shipping. They messed up the derailer. When it was received the rear derailer was sticking out of the box and the front of the box was torn open. Leaving anything loose to fall out. It caused some issues that required having a bike technician make adjustments for shifting correctly. Now, i agree its hard to Blame HILAND for the way that the Courrier dropped it off (think it was UPS). But i would say they should be a little tighter packaged so this can't happen. At that point, I was a bit angry. I was very disappointed to learn it only had one disc brake. It was a Christmas present, we had no way to ride it due to the snow. One of the rims we thought was bent but ended up just being the tread not quite straight. This has black and white tread. I was able to get a bike technician to adjust the gears. HILAND reimbursed me for the costs. I will say on the PROS their customer service has been amazing id give 3 1/2 stars if i could. On the CONS I feel like I never would have purchased this bike had I known it only had one disc brake on the front. All our bikes are disc brakes on the front and back except this one. It works fine, but the touchy really fine braking is not there like real front and rear disc brakes. Overall I am happy with the purchase due to the cost. It fit the budget. But i would have spent a little more to get dual disc brakes. And I hope HILAND learns how to package these better for future bike purchasers. They are built well. This is a great looking bike and I have enjoyed it so far. Definitely worth the money. Only thing I havnt been impressed with is how difficult it is set your breaks correctly. Other than that it's awesome!
