As you can imagine, simple, but solid and affordable. Only thing is that if you have it in an outside shop like mine in a humid environment, you have to keep it oiled so that it doesn't rust very quickly. No big deal if it starts to rust, just turn on the lathe and sand it off and then oil it

I bought this live center for my micro-mini-Taig lathe. I had to turn a brass sleeve for it to fit the tailstock, no fault of the manufacturer. It spins very easy without any play. I can highly recommend this product. It is made very well.

Great tailstock Live Center for my lathe. Has the #2 morse taper and the quality, fit and finish are very good quality. If you need a good sharp point, and nice quality tail stock for your lathe, then this is work the cost. I have one that I've been using for 2.5 years and I bought a second one for my other lathe. For some reason, the review asked me to rate the "Sheerness"? So, I was not buying panty hose and unsure why in the world that I would need to rate the Sheerness.
