I just assembled this as a gift for my wife and took it out for a test ride. I am very impressed with the initial quality for such a low price. Overall, this is an outstanding value. It is not a heavy duty true mountain bike; it’s more like a hybrid that can handle bumpy gravel roads or trails. Also, I doubt their rating of 1200 W for the motor is accurate… It feels to have about the same amount of power as another E bike I have with a 750 W motor, but still it will get up to about 25 miles an hour and should have sufficient power for anything my wife will need. It also has a pretty big removable battery (which should allow a long range), decent Shimano components, a comfortable fully adjustable seat, front shocks, mudguards and a headlight. All in all a lot of bike for the money. Best of all my wife and I are both tall (I’m 6’2”) and I was able to adjust everything for a comfortably ride. Time will tell if it is durable, but so far I am very pleased. ... show more

*Update 10/21/2023 - More good customer service to report! One of our ebike batteries stopped charging. Contacted seller, they were quick to respond with a suggestion, but when the fix didn't work they sent us a new battery right away. Very pleased with customer service. Original review: Ordered the TWO Cityscape ebike option ... black and white. We also opted for the 2 back racks. Black bike arrived from New Jersey. White bike arrived from California a week later. Although we are happy with the purchase and the customer service, there are a few things to know before you order. These two bikes are different from eachother. I'm guessing it's because they are closeout models that are no longer being manufactured and they send you what they have. I can only guess we got two different model years? BLACK BIKE is larger, came with brown shock absorbing seat, brown grips, a thumb push button throttle, a color display controller, no-quick release on the front tire, the handlebar tilt can be adjusted and it has a nice thick kickstand. My husband is 5' 9" and finds it comfortable. WHITE BIKE is a bit smaller with a shorter length frame and you notice this right away when you turn the front tire and the front of your foot hits the fender when peddling. It came with a black seat (no shock), black grips and nice palm rest, a twist throttle, a bright black and white display controller, the handlebars can not be adjusted for tilt, the front tire has a quick release and it came with a cheap kick stand. I am 5' 2" and it works, but if I were taller it might not be as comfortable. Once we had the bikes put together we tested them out and contacted the seller to upgrade the white bike in two ways (the seat and kickstand.) The seller sent us another brown shock absorbing saddle and thicker kickstand at no charge which was nice. Overall, the bikes ride well, charge well, and are very comfortable. Also, they are beautifully designed and are very solid. Nothing about them feels cheap. Because the bikes have different control systems, we are going to need to take time to adjust the mph speeds on the different modes so my husband and I can ride beside eachother and not constantly slow down and speed up to stay in sync. The two control systems are very different. The back bike baskets are "heavy" which is great if you're wanting something durable. We opted to put a basket on my bike only and share it for now. If you get the two bike option and they are not the same, we suggest you "mark" the correct battery, bike, and charger for each bike so they aren't mixed up. We found it didn't charge if you put it on the opposite charger for some reason. We are happy with purchase and have already put lots of miles on these bikes. If you're looking for a couple of entry level ebikes and don't mind that you may get two bikes that are not identical, then we recommend. ... show more

We purchased 2 of these E-Bikes... our first experience with e-bikes. Easy to assembly. Everything was packaged very well. I must admit they are built quite well for the price! The peddle assist works very well!! The battery plate that is mounted on the main downtube is not mounted straight on either of these bikes! I took the battery mounting plate off mine and actually filed the threaded inserts on the left side to try and get it to lay flat. It does sit better now but could take a little more off to get it completely lined up to sit vertically... they lean to the right. It's not a big deal... just bugs me when I look at it from the riding position. We were very uncomfortable with the low handlebars and have since purchased a stem extender and new handlebar mount to bring the handlebars up and back towards the rider, so you aren't leaning over so far. So far, the battery is holding up pretty good... but we only have a little over 130 miles on them. The seat?! pretty much non-existent. but I suppose once you get your butt in shape for sitting on a thin hard surface... you'll be ok (still working on that). Got the wifey a new seat. wise move.... We had a little trouble with error codes. I placed the bikes in the back of my truck and after taking them out and turning mine on I immediately got a 24 ERROR code. Be aware of the connector under the right rear arm that connects the motor to the electronics and battery. It was loose and not making connection. Called tech support and they were very helpful. After disconnecting ALL the connectors and re-connecting them... It finally worked. Then my wife received a 25 ERROR code minutes later! So... also be aware that you cannot hold either brake lever and turn the display power on to the bike..! We have noticed that every once in a while, the bike seems to jump forward! just a bit but it's very strange. So now my wife, after a couple whacks in the shin with the peddle, now powers it up AFTER she gets on. Not sure if we are hitting something to cause this or not! Would be interested if anyone else is experiencing the same phenomenon! These bikes seem to handle pretty well and appear they will hold up for quite a while!! Will add more after we get some real miles on them. For an entry level E-Bike... These are great! ... show more

3rd day having the bike. Easy assembly. I must say it’s awesome. First e-bike. Goes 25-28 mph like advertised. Can’t wait for rain to stop so I can go ride. I went 13 miles and still had 64% charge left. For the money definitely worth it.
