This is a copy of my review from my HeyBike Explore purchase, but it speaks about HeyBike the brand. Let's start with this, prior to purchasing my HeyBike I haven't rode a bike for many years, and before ordering I never even sat on an E-Bike. When I made the decision that I wanted an E-Bike I spent a couple of months (winter time) researching different ones, I knew I did not want to spend a ton of cash, I live in Minnesota and our summers are short, so going to the local bike shops and buying a 3k bike is not a wise choice, especially not having any idea if I'd even like it. I landed on HeyBikes early on in my research, I must have looked at every E-Bike for sale on Amazon under $1400, I kept on coming back to HeyBike though, after reading a majority of the negative reviews I was ready, most of those reviews had to do with the assembly or shipping, not the performance of the bike. Before I hit the place order button I thought to myself, "if I am going to buy this big awesome looking bike who am I going to ride with?" Then it dawned on me, I have to buy two bikes, one for me and one for my wife, I left the cart and went back into the HeyBike Amazon store, knowing my wife would not like the big beefy Explore bike that I had in my cart I checked out their other models, I had a couple in mind from my earlier research and then I landed on it, the Cityscape, it had my wives name all or it, it has the beach cruiser vibes, it's cute, I can add a seat for our 3 year old, then to top it off, almost like Heybike was listening to my thoughts, I scrolled up to confirm the price and sure enough it was on sale, just started because earlier in the day it was a couple hundred more, I knew it was the one, so from my home office I yelled for my wife to "come here, quickly", she came down, "is everything ok!!" she says with a little panic in her voice, I reply, "ya wanna get an E-Bike so we can ride together?" and after she looked at it, our minds were made up. I added it to the cart. A week later I get an alert on my phone, I check my cameras and there's the UPS dude unloading our bikes. Now assembly, it wasn't difficult but it also wasn't easy for me, but mind you assembling bikes isn't something I am familiar with, I tried reading the directions and they helped but I ended up watching a couple youtube videos and that was the trick, after that it went well. Now I am writing this review after having the summer to ride my bike and I am so beyond happy with my purchase, I forgot how much fun riding a bike is, but riding an E-Bike is an experience like no other, my bike is fast, it handles well, it's just a lot of fun. Over the summer I added a phone mount, and a new seat, the HeyBike seat isn't bad but it was not my favorite, I ended up buying a slightly larger one, I also added a rearview camera on my bike, because why not!? My wife loves her Cityscape and our 3-year-old just chills and enjoys the ride, our boy who is 9 pushing 10 rides his bike, and we are researching folding E-Bikes now to see if we can find one small enough that he can ride next summer, because him not having that motor we are unable to take our longer rides, so stay tuned for that review. Now the negatives. I only have a few, one of them being the brakes, they make a lot of noise, and being that my bike does almost 30 MPH they do not provide the stopping power one would expect, some replacement brakes are on the list for next summer, (I noticed the new arrivals in the HeyBike Store and they upgraded the brakes, so I assume they are aware). Second negative the screen, and I assume most E-Bikes have similar screens, but trying to change the options requires a degree, it really needs to be simplified (again new arrivals in the HeyBike Store have app controlled settings, so again I assume they are aware). My last negative is not really a negative because I was aware before hitting the checkout button and that is the size, I wanted a big bike, I am a big guy but until you get the bike you can not comprehend how big they actually are, trying to load this bike into my truck was impossible, I had to buy a ramp, and one of those tailgate protectors so the front wheel can hang over, but I would still buy it again if I knew that beforehand (well I did but you know what I mean), because the size is what makes it awesome. If you made it this far into this novel of a review then I am assuming you are like me and doing a lot of research before hitting that checkout button, I am speaking to you directly now, just do it, it's worth it, you will have no regrets.

Ok, so I think I’m a little late to the whole e-bike craze. Mostly because I didn’t have an extra $2 grand lying around. But, after talking with friends and doing some research I found HeyBike. So this is an honest review of the newest craze and the HeyBike Cityscape 2.0. Wow- just WOW! What an amazing bike for the $500 price point. This is a solidly constructed bike with all the bells and whistles. It was packaged and delivered professionally and safely. The assembly was quick and painless with all the tools (alen wrenches only) For someone with ZERO mechanical abilities - it was super easy. The ride is comfortable and it is easy to work. Color LCD display for tracking miles, etc. The rack on the back is a nice add. Most bikes I’ve seen require you to purchase it separately. Horn is loud and useful when approaching dawdling walkers to alert your presence. Headlight and taillight all work perfectly. If you’re thinking of getting into the e-bike world; this is the perfect bike to get. I haven’t ridden a bike in 25 years. Since I’ve had my CityScape 2.0 I’ve ridden every single day - to the store, coffee shop, meeting friends for pizza, farmers market, etc. I will include pictures a little later when I get home.

I’ve been really impressed with this Heybike. I ride it every day, and it has been an awesome bike. The speed is incredible, and the seat is very comfortable, making it enjoyable for both short and longer rides. The only issue I had was with the delivery. Due to some rough handling during shipping, the fender arrived slightly bent. However, this wasn’t Heybike’s fault, and it didn’t take away from my overall experience with the bike. Overall, I’m very happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend it.

I have been contemplating purchasing an ebike for sometime. After researching various models, I decided to purchase the Heybike Cityscape 2.0. It’s performance exceeds my expectations. Living in an area with many hills, I have been able to climb them without difficulty. I have been riding on paved roads and graveled rail trails and have greatly enjoyed the rides. Battery life has been excellent with only infrequent charging required. This ebike offers an excellent value for the cost.

So far absolutely love riding this bike around town. I’m a college student who doesn’t have access to a car and lives in an off campus apartment roughly a 10 min bike ride away. Until this bike arrived I was taking the bus to school and while my city has a great bus system, i was still not able to get to everywhere I would need to go. It’s now my 2nd week of college and I’m able to get to lots of fun places, hang out downtown, and get to campus better from my apartment. However there are a few cons! It took me roughly 7 hours to put this thing together and the instructions for it are super unclear. The video makes it seem super easy but it’s really not. Also it’s extremely difficult To put this bike together by yourself. My roommates were out so they couldn’t help me and I’m not super strong so holding this thing up while fastening the wheel was very difficult as it is a lot heavier than your standard bike. This bike is very heavy! And it’s also pretty massive! I’m about 5’4 and it’s definitely seems a lot larger than my old bike and most bikes people tend to ride in my town, meaning it sticks out like a sore thumb, especially if you get the white one. Also the battery seems to kinda get stronger over time? My first ride with it I had a full charge but could only get like 5 miles out of it before it was low. Then the next charge I was able to do twice that. Now it seems to be able to get 20 miles per charge. The bike seat is also pretty uncomfortable, but I put a pad on it so it’s fine. Th e-bike is super cute though, the white one is very modern looking but I put stickers on it this morning to make it more personal. The bike goes the advertised speed but be super careful on hills. Small ones are fine. Big ones are not. But yeah it’s a pretty decent bike but the set up experience is really not what it was advertised to be and the bike is absolutely massive so if your not super strong and you think you might have to lift it at some point either find someone to help or just don’t do that.

I recently started a new job where an e-bike makes the most sense for a commute. It’s my first e-bike, and frankly my first bike as an adult that I’m riding regularly. It is replacing my commuter car, and I couldn’t be happier about it. This bike is *fast*! I am hitting 27mph down hills, averaging 21-22 on flat, and nearly 19 up moderate hills. Steeper hills definitely take a toll, and it can go as low as 13-14, but I am literally getting to work faster than in my car wading thru soul-sucking traffic. It is significantly more pleasant, and easier than I thought. On my 6 mile commute, it uses about 15-20% of the battery on the uphill direction, which is pretty good. I haven’t tested its full range. Assembly was a bit tricky — no instructions in the box, so I had to watch a video on their website. It wasn’t as descriptive as it could have been, so I watched one other YouTube video as well. If I had any small gripe, I would say that it only has 7 manual gears, so during cruise (at ~21mph) I’m not actually able to pedal fast enough to actually push the bike, the electric motor is doing all the work. If I lower the pedal assist, suddenly I’m going like 15mph. So a higher gear would be nice for pedaling at faster speeds. Overall, I’m loving it so far! I won’t hesitate to come back and edit if that changes, though.

Our first e-bike — and we couldn't be happier. We spent a lot of time researching quality and value before pulling the trigger, and Heybike consistently came out on top. The bike arrived faster than expected, though the delivery company damaged the box and bent the front fender. We contacted the seller, and they responded immediately and shipped a replacement part without any hassle. That kind of after-sales support makes a real difference. The ride itself is smooth, responsive, and genuinely enjoyable — exactly what we were hoping for. Strongly recommend Heybike for anyone considering their first e-bike. Great product, great service.
