The 2.0 is my second Heybike Cityscape, and I'm just as thrilled with this one as I was with my first! It's an outstanding quality and a great value. My sister bought green, my husband has the blue, and I got a white one - so we're a heybike family! Battery life is fantastic, and the pedal-assist is so easy to use. I rarely use anything above pedal assist 1, but when I do, the speed is just right. I really like the upgraded, sleek design of the 2.0 with a hidden battery compartment. The weight of bike is very evenly distributed. Highly recommend!

This is my 2nd Heybike. I absolutely love the Cityscape model. ( I upgraded to this 2.0 model and have a 2nd bike for visitors. ) My only.. only complaint with Heybikes are that fact that they do not make a pretty girl FRONT BASKET. They only offer the metal black basket. Boo.. I would like a version that looks similar to a wicker basket or even metal, but in that style. Please, please for all us girls make a cuter front basket for us.

Got this for my daughter and she LOVES IT! The bike was very easy to put together and well made. The battery life and MPH are as described. If you are looking for something to get your kid/teenager out of the house...E-Bike is the way to go and this brand is the best I have found.

I really like this bike for an "urban cruiser" that I use daily here in Los Angeles! I did have a couple of mechanical issues with the bike which included the front and rear brakes. I also had issues with the rear wheel. So, I contacted Heybike customer support and GLORIA was able to help me with resolving ALL of the issues. I was able to take the bike to my local bike mechanic and they fixed the issues with the brakes and rear wheel. Afterwards, I sent Gloria the receipts for the repairs and Heybike reimbursed me for the repair costs. So, they absolutely stand by their bikes and warranty! If you are looking into this bike, rest assure they will take care of you if you have any issues! Thanks Gloria and HeyBike!

I'm writing this review from the stand point as a industrial mechanic and welding fabricator. The packing of this bike is well packed with minimal trash to throw out. The bike arrived undamaged from its ground shipping from California to Chicago. It's a fairly light package at about 76lbs considering what's inside and easy to move. It's easy to unbox and you will need a utility knife a pair of cutters to cut a few thick nylon zip ties. I used electricians side cutters. Theres minimal assembly required and the assembly of the bike is super easy with minimal mechanical inclination or aptitude needed. All the tools are provided for you. Even the quality of the provided tools are above average. They're worth keeping them in a small pouch as your tool kit for the maintenance of the bike. While assembling the bike as a welder I naturally began inspecting the welds. These welds are solid with no signs of poor quality in any of the welds. They're uniform and done well. The mechanical design of this bike is high quality and also solid. There were no apparent flaws in the production process (I work on industrial machines in a automotive parts manufacturing plant which gives me the knowledged and ability to spot manufacturing flaws). The quality control process of the manufacturing of this bike is very high. The fasteners they provided even surprised me using stainless steel cap head screws that will endure wet climate better than cheaper galvanized fasteners used by other manufacturers. The stainless steel screws offer a nice subtle BLING ✨ to the overall appearance of this bike. Looking at the electrics of this bike and I'm not disappointed here either. The wiring is well done and you will not need to make any connections. Should you need to replace an electrical part you will not need to cut any wires as they're twist plug designed connections. The LCD display is large enough to easily read yet small and economic. The rims are also flawless and well made as are the front and rear brake assembly. The front shock absorbing forks move smoothly and have the ability to lock them for a stiff ride. The fenders are abs plastic which eliminates unbending metal should you hit something. The back cargo rack is heavy duty and should be sufficient to fit most panniers. I did not order baskets for this bike though the front mounting bracket is well built to the frame. The derailleur is Shimano and is sufficient for this bike The seat and handle grips are very comfortable as are the placement of the handlebars. Both adjustment to your liking. The one thing I didn't like and will probably change are the pedals. They're plastic which the greater majority of people will find sufficient. They do have good grip although I prefer to use an aluminum pedal instead. The owners manual is basic and easy to read though it does lack a better explanation of the bikes settings. Over all I give the design and manufacturing of this bike 5 out of 5 stars. I have not ridden the bike yet to test out it's overall ride and capabilities but will update this in the future.

Me and my wife have ridden this bicycle over 600 miles. Upon purchase, it had some bends in the frame near the battery, almost unnoticeable and not as bad as other reviews mentioned. The bike has a lot of compromises. The cadence sensor is unresponsive and has a minimum speed of about 11mph when just rotating your legs. The power kicks on aggressively and pushes you to the speed based on your PAS level. The rear tire lasted maybe 200 miles; we replaced it with high-end tires and tubes that don’t fall apart. Replaced the grips with ones you can actually hold onto. The brakes will work once properly adjusted, but they are noisy and squeak extremely loud. Don’t ride without your hands on the bars, because it gets some serious speed wobble. It’s cheap and you get what you pay for, but the fact that you can’t go slow with pedal assist, the questionable brakes, and the frame defects make it hard to recommend, despite being an okay deal. You’re better off spending more for a bike with better components (like hydraulic brakes and a proper sensor), but this will still get you places. Anyway, it’s been maybe 11 months now and we are already replacing it.
