We got this to go with our new knife hexclad knife set. It’s fit perfectly on our counter and is very stylish to boot. It’s slim so it doesn’t take up much room. This and the knives were our early Christmas present for us both as they are pricey, but the quality is great and having them at your fingertips on not having to dig in our drawer for them is nothing but a bonus. Bought this to hold and display our new Japanese knives and it’s a beautiful piece. The quality of the walnut is very nice. A 210mm long blade is about the longest you can comfortably fit on this without the tip touching the base.

This was made in China like all the others on sale on Prime Day, but I don't question the value of the way it's bolted to the metal plate. The wood is beautiful, the magnets are strong, the engineering is superior, and the knife holder is substantial. Not super-long but it has two sides.

Only 4 starts since it is too short to hold my longer chef and Japanese knifes. Way too expensive for what you get but I like the looks of it and have many knifes so I kept it anyway. If you were to buy the HexClad knife set to go with it I guess they would all fit ok based on the photo of the knife set on the block. Makes for easy knife access and display but wish it was a bit taller and ever a bit wider. Pros: - Nice weight and sturdy base. - Good magnet strength. Strong enough to hold but not too strong you pull the block over when removing a knife. - Nice quality wood and very nice finish/stain if you like the walnut color. Cons: - Doesn't fit longer knifes (an inch or so short in height). - Cost is way too much for what you get. - Only comes in walnut so customers wanting a lighter color will not have any other choice.

I bought this to attach my Hex Clad Knife set that I purchased. It was slim as stated and heavy enough that it won't tip over. Very nice wood and looks very elegant in my kitchen on the counter unlike a regular Block for knives
