I got these to use for Tai Chi and they work really well for this. One of the reasons I settled on these is that the reviews said they are narrow. And they are - extremely narrow. I usually take an 8 women's and sized up half a size. Probably could have used a 9. These fit snuggly but they are leather and do stretch. The leather is very soft, as is the cute daisy lining. I wear these only for Tai Chi, nothing else, so I suspect they will last a while. I wouldn't wear them outside or even for slippers because they are delicate. I do like them and recommend them for the purpose they are made for or something similar, especially for women with narrow feet. ... show more

I love these ballet shoes! I have a pair of split sole Capezio that are stretch material, but these are so much more comfortable to dance in. I just ordered a second pair in black to go with my black ballet outfits. They run true to my tennis shoe size. It took a bit to get them tightened just right, but after that was accomplished, they are amazing! I can't wait to dance in my black ones as well! ... show more

Capezio is hands-down my favorite brand for ballet shoes. These fit beautifully, are comfortable, and have a nice, flexible feel that makes them perfect for dance class. I wear a size 5 but had to get 6.5 and then it fit. They are nice, durable and comfortable. Be careful near moss or water you could slip. On dry ground they are like wearing moccasins. Up

Size: 10 Little Kid Color: Ballet Pink
Due to reviews....I ordered a size up for my 5 year old daughter. She has just started wearing a size 10, we ordered an 11M. Sizing up was Not the right decision. The width was fine- she has a pretty typical "medium" width foot now that she is older & these were fine in that regard, if not a little loose. However, they were Definitely at least a sz too large for her. Much too long. My advice: order their current size OR order a couple pairs in different sizes if you are concerned & return what doesn't work As a former dancer (& a daughter of such as well), I do know how these should fit her feet. If she were older, she should not have extra space in the shoe. Since she is still growing, a little space is okay, if not preferred. However, it's obvious that ordering a size up in these leaves them much too long & will cause her to trip, etc. I should have followed Capezio's own sizing guidelines, rather than the reviews here, as they list these as being true to size. They are correct in our experience. Ordering her current street shoe size will still leave a bit of room at the end of the toes for growth, but will not be so long they are hazardous. The quality of these ballet slippers is excellent. Granted, I've always been a bit partial to Capezio.. This Daisy style is a little less flat than the classic Teknik's, if you are familiar with those. I think this Daisy style is excellent for little girls like mine whose feet are a little thicker up and down (if that makes since- not width, but actual thickness) than some. I may even order a pair for myself. The pink is classic & beautiful. The lining is cute & feels comfortable. The name tag inside is a great touch, though I am a little concerned as to whether or not they will cause a little irritation upon dancing. I will update if they Do. The edging does not rub her heel/ankle when cinched. The full sole is just as expected and nice. The leather is soft but durable & not too thin nor too thick. These really are quite lovely! These are a great buy & I do not forsee any problems with these in her correct size. However, Do order in their current street shoe size first... ... show more

Capezio is a long-standing and trusted name in the dance world. So, I ordered these slippers for my granddaughter’s first ballet class. She wears a size 10 toddler which is the size that I ordered and the shoes are so tight. The shoe part fits perfectly. It’s the elastic band across the top that sets way back on the ankle and therefore cuts off her blood flow and left a really deep mark on her foot. I am going to see if I can remove the elastic strip and re-sew it back on further to the front. The way they are currently constructed, I don’t know how they fit anybody. ... show more

If you dance or do ballet these are THE shoes. I’ve gotten them THREE times. not because they broke but because they are just that good. I’ve run on stage with them, outside, walked on dirt, mud, grass, concrete, carpet, up and down 15k steps in them and they LAST. they last with hours of dancing ( sometimes 9+) and do not break. they are wonderful! the only con is the bottom of the sole may not be wide enough for your feet. even as someone with narrow feet, the bottom of the sole needs to be a little bigger for better support.
