Features

  • One-piece design: hexagonal shank and drill bit are welded and polished; the perfect combination will not separate. Even if it accidentally gets stuck in the wood, it can be removed by reversing the rotation. Make your wood splitting work more efficient and labor-saving.
  • High-quality material: the drill bit is made of high-quality, high carbon steel, which is wear-resistant, impact-resistant, and not easy to break due to vibration.
  • Careful design: geometry reduces friction and saves time to complete the task efficiently. Titanium coating reduces friction and heat through heat treatment, making cutting easier and more durable.
  • Note: The 32mm drill bit is not suitable for large diameter hardwoods. When using the bit, it is best to use it at the edge of the log. If the drill bit gets stuck, it can be easily removed using the drill's reverse rotation feature. Switch to the edge of the wood, and you can continue to use it.

  • Better alternative than non-welded nut version
Color: Metallic
The media could not be loaded. Are you looking for a log splitter drill bit attachment but were turned off by all the negative reviews left on the other products that were stripping the nuts on the first use? Well I had the same hesitation until I stumbled across this version where they weld the nut completely so it’s 1 solid piece. I used it on some pressure treated cedar just to try it and it works as advertised. I have not tried it on anything larger yet but I update this review if anything happens. UPDATE: I used this piece on some maple logs between 6-10 inches last weekend and it worked great. You do have to keep the bit closer the edge to get an effective split but it works as advertised if used correctly. To those saying this doesn’t work or they hurt themselves trying, proper use and common sense will fix that. UPDATE #2: Used this bit the entire week splitting more bits of logs with ZERO issues. A high powered drill like my Milwaukee M18 makes short work of everything I’ve thrown at it. I’ve been purposely trying it in the thickest part of the wood to try to break it and I’ve still had no issues. Highly recommend this splitter. ... show more

  • This can really hurt you
Color: Metallic
This can work now and then..... BUT. Even following the directions and the video on this site the bit will still lock-up in the wood. Result is the wood spins and whacks your ankle: Especially when you put your foot on the top of the log as in the video. Thought I broke my ankle. Also the drill will spin and be yanked out of your hand. Once that happens the drill and log go flying. Mine went over 6 feet, so don't have anyone near you. Silly me, I tried it on two more logs. I think it may work on logs larger than what I was splitting, they have more soft wood on the edge that can be split off without getting near to the hard center. ... show more

  • Doesn't really work
Color: Metallic
Tried it in a powerful corded concrete impact drill, following the directions to target close to the edge. It got stuck instantly each time I tried, and it was NOT easy to dislodge once stuck. Just doesn't really work.

  • Good For Splitting Thin Boards
Color: Metallic
This bit works well for splitting thin boards into kindling. Not well suited for splitting thicker pieces.
