5 plus year later review and these things still sound amazing. They can handle a ton of power and are clean and smooth. The tweeters have zero brightness, just nice subtle roll off. Mid bass is impactful and can feel slightly in your chest. These obviously aren’t subs. But they go lower than many 6.5’s. I’m running JL audio slash power to them. Running them on bridges infinity kappa amp. 150 rms each and they ae remarkable. Installed on factory F150 locations with lots of sound proofing. You hear things in your music you’ve never heard before. They are great at low volumes and remain detailed and when turned up remain composed and extremely clean. The factory crossover was slightly bright for my taste. Dsr1 dsp was easily able to dial them in to my taste. You’ll be happy with them. ... show more

These are great sounding speakers. However I had one go out.. it sounds very distorted. It just started crackling. The passengers side is fine. I took them out and sending back. Hopefully the dealer will do me right. Everything was hooked correctly. I bought b ht less than 30 days ago. I have the old skars back in. Hooked to the mille power 4 at 4 ohms. I know it's not my wiring. Something went wrong. But was awesome for 2 weeks. Hopefully i get them straightened out and playing again. ... show more
