  • Power steering!
Size: 25in (63cm) x 4mm
We’ve got two pit-mixes and one Olde English bulldog; all of whom could easily pull your arm out of socket with a regular collar or harness. We took the time to read many reviews for a variety of prong collars and decided to invest in this one. Boy are we glad we did! Our OEB has the thickest neck of the three dogs and this collar fits perfectly. We like the fact that we can adjust the size for the other two dogs but will be buying two more so they each have one. As stated earlier this is an investment but well worth the price; the quality, durability, and effectiveness is superior to other prong collars we’ve purchased in the past. We highly recommend this one of you’re in the market. ... show more

  • Helpful Training Tool
Size: 23 in (58 cm) x 3.2 mm
Yes, I was absolutely hesitant to use these collars initially. I avoided it and probably "over treated" my two pups trying to train them, but maybe I was actually bribing them. I had two dog trainers recommend this collar and I understand others may not. My two pups are 7 different breeds (did the dog dna testing) and they are large dogs. They are super, incredibly sweet, loving dogs. I was afraid I would cause them to distrust me and I was afraid I would eliminate some of their loving, sweet natures by using this training collar. I was, very thankfully, so wrong. Because they are large puppies (67lbs and 80lbs), they do not know their own strength, get over-excited, and are more focused on getting what they want than on their training walks. Used correctly, and I sincerely mean correctly, they are fabulous training tools. I must also admit they are terrific safety features for me since my dogs will not take off after a squirrel or anything else while I walk them with these collars. I quickly believed all the information in the many, many YouTube videos I watched and told by the trainers I noted. These collars are a very humane way to train dogs. Again, this is only true when used properly. Admittedly, I originally figured these collars were worth a try and I did not have to continue using them if I did not want to or if I did not like them. Before I used these collars, I used harnesses that were designed to reduce pulling when walking. I would practically "fight" them trying to restrict their moving forward, sideways, or any direction they wanted to take me. My pups did not understand why they were being limited and it was a continuous battle. Truthfully, walks were not fun nor too bonding for us. Once I used these collars, they learned almost immediately that they have control over their correction. It helped them choose to walk well and focus on our walking. Yes, I heard two light yelps the very first time. Yeah, I hated it. I knew they were not hurt or choked at all. They were surprised. Do you blame them? They did not know what these collars were and they were used to tugging me along on walks. That was the only slight yelp I've heard since using them. My neck, shoulders, and back also thank these collars. Most importantly, my dogs actually like them. Sincerely. They know every time we go on a walk they wear them. I pull out the collars and they are genuinely excited. They are very well behaved on our urban streets and I get compliments for my just turned 1 year old dogs. I will emphasize one more time that the collar must be used as the training tool for which it is designed. Following the dog trainers' instructions will make these collars pleasant. It helps my dogs to know their limits, correct themselves (they have the control), and get to enjoy our walks. And, yes, I give treats with these collars on while walking when they do what I ask like sit at a corner. I really do not use the collars for more than leash walking. I noticed that using them for walks was enough for my dogs to train better with me in other settings. These collars are well made. They are strong. They are very sturdy. I appreciate that they come in black. These collars are stronger and more secure than the ones I see in pet stores. Like any training collar, they will fail some day. Because of that, I use a carabiner to connect them to their regular collar when walking. I also purchased additional hooks so that I can avoid that potential day by changing hooks out. ... show more

  • This collar works great!
Size: 16 in (41 cm) x 2.25 mm
We have a super energetic and strong shepherd/husky mix...yes, it's the husky that makes him crazy lol. And this collar has definitely kept him under control on walks, which were unbearable with a flat collar. The collar and links are heavy duty and haven't failed in the year that we've had them. We do connect this collar/leash to a flat collar as back-up given, we've heard the links could fail, but this hasn't been the case so far. HOWEVER, we discovered on two instances, that we weren't inspecting the links prior to use and they can come partially separated from one another after you bunch them up and store between uses. This imperfect link connection caused the collar to open up and we're fortunate the leash was linked to the flat collar as backup, otherwise our pup would bolted for sure...but again, this is an owner-operator problem not a fault of the product at all. Just pull the collar out, stretch out from end to end to inspect all the links are fully connected and then clip on your dog and you'll be good to go. ... show more

  • Great for training!
Size: 23 in (58 cm) x 3.2 mm
I bought this collar which was recommended to me by a trainer for my husky who has always been a constant puller. I’ve used regular martingale collars as well as shock collars but I honestly prefer this one. It corrects him each time while gently reminding him as we walk. This collar DOES NOT HURT THEM which is a common misconception. It is just a great tool for training. This collar is also very well made compared to others I’ve seen. ... show more

  • Great collar!
Size: S
I was very hesitant to put this on my small dog because I didn't want to injure her. However, she pulls like a small train and it was almost impossible to walk her, even after other training modalities were tried. She has an extreme level of prey-drive so anything that moves - rocks, birds, CATS, weeds... - trigger her. The second I put this collar on, she was completely controlled and I've had no issues ever since. She knows that when I get that collar out she's going for a walk so now it's a positive. The prongs are rounded and do not hurt her. The construction is very good and I have no issues at all with the collar. I did have to remove 3 prongs to fit her properly but that was discussed with me by the manufacturer prior to my purchase. They have great customer support and are very responsive. A good job all around and I'd highly recommend the product and the company! ... show more

  • Works like a charm
Size: 18in x 2.25mm (neck size up to 15in)
This product works! Pricey but good quality. Lighter than expected so thats a good thing. First time I walked my Belgian x who's now 3 months old, he pulled only once and learned quick not to do it again. So for sure ill be enjoying our daily walks from here on. Ill update soon and see how durable it is.. Size: I purchased the 2.5 black 15” stainless steel. Took out 4 links to fit my dog but it still wont stay put behind his ear. Too tight if I take another 2 links so I wont be doing that. Works even tho not totally behind his ear. ... show more

Before making purchases I researched all the proper and safety tips in using this collar responsibly. Got a perfect size for my baby girl. Works nicely to manage her. She's a bit large but this helps train her without her overpowering me. A bit difficult to put on at first, but you get the hang of it. ... show more
