I like this lamp a lot; however, the description and picture on amazon say/show that it has a “seeded shade.” The one I received is not seeded...just regular glass. Not sure if I got the wrong shade? If not, please correct the description as it is misleading and inaccurate.

Let me start out by saying this lamp is beautiful it is also like 7 foot tall and the shade is like a foot around. I could put my whole head in there. Pictures make it look smaller so just measure and prepare yourself for it to be big. My husband asked me why I put a lamppost in our livingroom. I never found anything that compared to the sleek gooseneck and style so I kept it. I just put it off in a corner. It really puts out lots of light and brightens our livingroom. ... show more

This lamp is so cool. I needed a floor lamp for the living room but didn’t want a basic one. This one was perfect, unique and gives off the perfect amount of light! I used a vintage Edison type bulb and it looks great with the lamp. Love it and highly recommend!

It's for sure a lamp. However the ease of assembly could be... easier. The glass shade is also already attached and it makes it very awkward to handle and twist in place. The cord also needs constant tension as you are assembling to remove any slack during the assembly process. It definitely seems like a 2 person job. It's possible with one person, I should know, but it makes it way more frustrating to do. Speaking of the glass shade... mine looks almost used. The glass is heavily scratched and smudged. I tried to remove whatever the smudges are with glass cleaner but to no avail. I don't know if the lamp is just a resold used lamp or just shoddy quality control. Either way I am not pleased with that. Whenever the lamp is on, it looks disgustingly dirty. And I've seen another review on here for this lamp mentioning the same thing so buyer beware. All-in-all I can't say I am pleased with my purchase. So if I can't get it cleaned up with some more elbow grease then I think this lamp is destined for a return. ... show more

Love the look of this lamp but when we finally put it together the middle tube had a connection piece welded in crooked which, when installed, made the entire lamp lean. We had to return it which was disappointing because it was a beautiful lamp. I give it 2 stars only because it was defective. This lamp is phenomenal. I can’t say enough good things about it! I had seen a similar lamp at a fancy light store for $400 and was thrilled to find this version on Amazon. This lamp is amazing - so beautiful! The base is heavy and sturdy (it's on carpeted floor right now and doesn't wobble at all). Also - this is a perfect dupe for a much more expensive brand. This farmhouse industrial floor lamp is really impressive! High quality, beautiful black finish. The glass lamp shade is massive! It’s a beautiful statement piece.
