This book has it all, except for the fact that it’s made clearly for the over the top, fully planned with no detail left-out kind of wedding. If you have anything smaller or more intimate, this book isn’t for you. This details each thought you could have about planning a large reception, having huge bridal/groom parties and five star meals for your 1000 guests. For those who have weddings for 100 people or less, this book probably is quite overkill and could just get ideas from Pinterest and save the money. ... show more

I have quite a difficult time keeping things in order in my own brain. And when my fiancé and I started planning our wedding a bit ago, I realized I was in way over my head. This book has been extremely helpful in reminding of things I need to make sure I’m doing. You can plan your budget (including gratuities), you can compare dresses, you can compare venues. It’s great! Anything you don’t need you simply cross our so you don’t have to look at it anymore and it doesn’t take unnecessary brain space. If you are a disorganized bride and certain aren’t organized enough to buy one of those downloadable things from Etsy and put it all together yourself (which for most people is much more hassle than it’s worse) this is a PERFECT alternative. ... show more

I personally love this book! I planned an entire wedding years ago using a big binder with all the folders. That wedding was cancelled (3 weeks before...yes, a true nightmare!) But, now I am marrying the person I was meant to be with all along! Having planned both ways now, I like this small book of lists better. I can keep it in my purse or on my desk. I also recommend using this book along with a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet for tracking all details digitally. The lists in the book are great and help you think through all the things that will or will not apply to you on your special day. Of course some things won't apply, and many don't for me, but that's okay - just cross them out. I enjoyed crossing off the things I don't need to worry about! If you are looking for a simple way to keep yourself on task during your planning, I think this book does a great job if that! ... show more
