I loved the appearance of these knives. Loved. 5 months in and the painted handles are peeling. While the knives are still incredibly sharp, they look cheap. I hand wash my knives so I don't understand why they are peeling. I've been a huge Henckel fan for almost 30 years. It's very disappointing. I use this knife set daily to chop and slice everything from bread to vegetables, and have had no issue with them. They are incredibly sharp, and it doesn't take much pressure to cut through things like bread which can normally be a task. The steak knives are also very sharp and work well! I gave 4 stars for easy to hold because with the graphite handles, I feel as though I have to be extra careful to ensure my hand isn't wet so I have a better grip. These knives are very sharp and so easy to hold. The handle’s feel great and the storage block is nice and heavy so there’s now way for it to tip over. You can’t go wrong with this set of knives. You’ll never have to buy another set of knives.
