Both my kids got new loft beds and their old chargers would not reach from the outlet near the floor. Got one for each kid, charges very well, holds up to a little rough wear and tear, and best of all, is the perfect length to get from outlet to their bedside.

I purchased this 6 foot USB-C cable and plug pack for a new iPad Series 6. Overall the cable and plug worked well, but here are a few observations. First photos are of the packaging. The cable is decent quality, and doesn’t feel flimsy or cheap. The cable length is about 3 inches shy of 6 feet. (See yardstick / cable photos.) Total length is 6’ when cable is plugged into the outlet plug. I don’t know why the USB-C cable does not plug all the way into the outlet plug. (See photo of metal portion of USB-C.) The same is true for the USB-C plug into the iPad. I would have expected a snug fit like the Apple plug and cord. (See photo of Apple USB-C.) After I plugged in the iPad to charge, there was a delay of a few seconds before the iPad recognized it was attached to a power source. That delay is not present when using the Apple USB-C and charging plug. The last photos show that the iPad was at 81% charged at 12:23 when I plugged it in. After 20 minutes it had charged to 89%. That seemed a bit slow to me, but I’m no expert. The charging plug did get very warm during that 20 minutes. As I stated, the cable and plug work well and gets the job done, but there may be better options. ... show more
