This knife set arrived on time and each knife was sealed in its own packages. They aren't as thick or as sharp as I hoped. When it comes to slicing open watermelon for example, it was a little tougher getting through. I have not tried slicing meat yet. They are alright as knives go. Watch the points, as they are sharp. I haven't found anything that I don't like about them except the first time I used one I cut my finger. My fault for not realizing how sharp they are and never having a good, sharp set of knives before. I would recommend this to everyone.
