Picture quality is poor especially night vision. The low battery alarm is SUPER annoying when it goes off in the middle of the night and wakes your baby, plus it sounds like it’s a navy battle ship alarm…completely unnecessary to be that crazy loud especially when the device doesn’t amplify baby noise as much! It’s not intuitive to operate, reading the directions is helpful, but really there’s no external volume button soooo that was fun to figure out when I have less than 20 minutes of sleep in me…anywho, from one tired newborn mom to another, get yourself a better monitor with easier setup orrrr set this up before your baby arrives…my little one came early so I did not have that luxury. Great baby cam for the price!! I ordered one at first just to try. Then ended up ordering a second one so I can see EVERYWHERE in my daughters bedroom. Cameras easily link together. Nice size monitor screen; not too big, not too small. Only complaint is about the night vision. I wish I was able to manually turn night vision mode on/off. If my daughters tv screen is too bright, the camera feels night vision isn’t necessary and it makes it hard to see her on the monitor. ... show more

Love this monitor! It’s so convenient and love how I can listen in and see the baby but they left off the scratch protector price on the front that you feel off and they printed the “fully charge the monitor before the first use.” Directly on the screen and it does distract me and bother me. I have had one of these cameras before with my last child and gifted it to someone else. So I reordered me one and I did get a faulty one (which probably was a machine’s mistake). But if I had to rate the monitor and camera it’s self it would be a 5 star!!! I can go outside and do yard work and even watch the camera. I love it, just not this one. ... show more

I had tested out an older model HelloBaby that had a smaller monitor. I was hopeful that maybe some of the things I didn't like would be improved with this one, but that was not the case. The image quality isn't great - and with a big screen, you can tell. The size of the screen is awesome, I would recommend that ONLY. I do have to say that time wise, it has less delay than my more expensive motorola - but the image's quality ruins that as a benefit. There is the ability to move up/down and left/right on the parent monitor, but ONLY when zoomed in so that was not helpful either. ... show more
