    • Control box to light cable is very flimsy
The light is a great idea however the cord that feeds the light from the control box is a very flimsy cable. The connections at each end are very light weight. Trip on the cord once and cable tears out of the control box. Ask me how I know. At some point I’ll upgrade the cable but for now it’s stuck into the control box and gravity holds it in place. The light is probably better suited for an indoor application than a busy shop floor ... show more

    • Finally, a quality build
WOW! Talk about a product that lives up to its name and delivered! So at first I was expecting a mid level floor light for my shop and then this quality of piece of craftsmanship arrives! The shell is metal with some sort of reinforced plastic light cover. The brightness level is no joke, full sunlight level, pretty much as bright as my bay lights. There were no shadows under the vehicle lift. Oh and here's the bonus I was not aware of, IT HAS A DIMMER BUILT INTO THE CONTROL BOX! For the price of $50+ I would have expected this item to be more, almost triple, but am happy to be budget friendly in the trying time. I'll report back to see if it holds up to the day to day of a small mechanic shop. Oh, already dropped an impact wrench on it and not a scratch or a crack! Get it while it's affordable! ... show more

Heavy duty (and generally heavy, which is great for keeping it in place) extremely tough, great amount and quality of light. Kind of strange power supply, but it works extremely well.
