I normally wear a medium, but because this is more of a fitted/tailored coat, I ordered a large to have a bit more room. And it fits perfect. I haven't tried it with a hoodie underneath yet, but I'm sure it will be fine. The "feel like" temp today is a cool 17 degrees, and I didn't even turn the heat on in my car to run errands. That's how warm and comfy it is. Of course the wind isn't blowing crazy, so I can't judge it on that. Time will tell. But I like this coat a lot. It's stylish and seems well made. Shipping took forever, but it was worth it. The only thing I would change is the collar. Having the fleece on the collar would have been nice, as the light wind we do have today, went right down the back of my neck. lol You'll need to wear a scarf. ... show more
