I got this in Wine Red in a size large. It looks just like the pictures and fits true to size. The details are gorgeous and the hardware is well attached and moves smoothly. This is a great jacket for cold winter weather and it can easily be dressed up or down for a variety of occasions. The inside is super soft and I absolutely love the double cuffs (the ribbed ones keep my wrists warm and drafts/snow out). This is going to be one of my "go-to" jackets this winter! ... show more

This parka by HEEKPEK is of moderate quality. It's more of a shoulder-season weight than a true winter-weight coat for my region (MT). The faux fur is recognizably faux. I'm more than fine with that. The hood is generous, bordering on capacious. The zipper is covered with a wind-resistant buttoned flap, which is quite useful. The pockets are large enough for hands and a few other items. The wine-red color is very pleasant. I will carry this parka in my vehicle to donate to a person in need. I live on a Montana reservation where I have encountered several instances of women fleeing domestic violence without any winter clothing. This coat may very well be the difference between the loss of life or limb for someone. ... show more

This coat is now available for $49.99 with $10 off as of Oct. 1 2024 and it's worth every penny. It comes in its own zipped bag, lint and smell free although there was some shedding from the faux fur hood. It fit me well fully clothed and made me hot quickly indoors so I believe this will be perfect to wear as we head into halloween and thankgiving months here in the nyc metropolitan area. The pockets are deep and secure with the buttons I felt no fan air blowing into the seams of the coat once I had it fully zipped and buttoned. Overall this is a nice winter coat and is available in various colors. I would highly recommend it and plan to use it often. ... show more

This coat reminds me of something Lara in Doctor Zhivago might have worn Some other thoughts on the coat: Both warm and fashionable All that fur is faux and it is warm The body is fur lined, so is the hood, and the hood is also trimmed in fur Fur around the hood perimeter can be removed Hood, unfortunately, cannot be removed Nor is the hood equipped with a drawcord to adjust fit around the head, and it is a BIG hood that kind of flops around at times Has a convenient waist drawcord, albeit somewhat clunky to tie once it is pulled tight But get it tied and the drawcord looks good! This is gorgeous! The color is vivid and eye-catching. It's a great length - I'm on the shorter side of 5 feet, so it hits to mid thigh. I love the flat pocket to store things or keep your hands warm. This is very well made parka with a water-resistant outer shell. The inner shell is soft faux fur fleece. The attached hood does not come off, but the faux fur detail is removable. It has double closure with outer buttons and an inner zipper closure.
