  • Worth the price
Color: 8000 Games Wifi Split
Easy set up. Lots of games. More than one would normally ever play. Several different categories of game. Quality of the unit is satisfactory. The overall construction is decent but not to be handled roughly. Function of the joysticks takes a little finesse. Considering the cost of the unit and what you get the value is good. ... show more

  • Not working. Even searched on YouTube channel to find how it is supposed to work.
Color: 28890 Games Basic
Excited to get the package only to find out it doesn't work. No quality control? not sure why....lights on the controller works but nothing launch, no sound or anything. I tried on two working monitors with no luck. I even changed HDMI cable and used my TV. Still nothing came on. Waste of time....put everything back in the box and have to return it. ... show more

  • Decent unit, quirky out-of-the-box, but can be improved if you put the work into it.
Color: 36800 Games Wifi Split
For $180, I can't complain. This unit does a good job of replicating the arcade experience with decent build (metal cases, lucite tops) and an arcade-like feel (the swirling LED lights are a nice arcade-like touch) , but the system does have some quirks/issues: 1. Not a big deal, but the suction cups on the bottom of the cases to mount to a tabletop are pretty worthless, as they don't work at all and come off easily. There's also an internal speaker in the unit that is kind of pointless/annoying, since it duplicates what you hear through your TV but at much lower fidelity. EDIT - I was successfully able to disable the internal speaker by opening the main unit and pulling the internal connector. 2. A bigger deal is that the games are NOT listed in alphabetical order, which makes scrolling through 10k of them rather tedious. This is made worse by the next quirk: 3. The names of the games have clearly been translated to Chinese, then back to English, which leads to some bizarre and often hilarious misnamings. E.g., Rocky the Flying Squirrel becomes "Flying Rat Rocky," Bonk (a caveman-themed game) becomes "Primitive Man," Tecmo Bowl becomes "Tecmo Rugby," and many, many more examples. This has the further downside of making the game search function useless in many cases, since the name is often not even close to right. 4. The online "game market" doesn't work -at all-, making the WiFi function pretty much pointless out of the box. 5. As many have stated, a lot of the games are dupes. This isn't necessarily a bad thing for the completist, since in many cases the presumed dupes are alternate versions, mods, foreign language versions, etc., that might be of interest to retro gaming enthusiasts. The problem is that different versions of the games often have different (mis)translations of their names, making it hard to sort out the various versions. 6. On vertical-screen arcade games (many of the older ones), the screen is stretched out to the edges of my 16:9 TV, distorting the playing field quite a bit. And now onto some good points: 1. The emulation is quite good, even on the more intensive 3D titles. The only games where I have noticed a bit of lag are some of the older quick twitch arcade titles like Ms. Pacman. 2. The unit was easy to install, hooking up to my flat panel 4K TV with no issues 3. There's an unadvertised feature for different video modes which allow arcade-style scanlines and on-the-fly upscaling to lo-res titles. 4. Most importantly, if you are technically-inclined, it is possible to install the third-party Pandorytool Ultimate on this unit, which potentially improves the experience substantially. To fully make use of it, you have to be comfortable with opening up your unit and removing the internal SD card, as well as using various command-line utilities in Windows to specially prepare USB sticks to load various components onto your Pandory. With Pandorytool, there are several possible improvements: - It fixes the aspect ratio problem, allowing the aspect ratio to be fixed on the fly through a button combo - It enables remote administration via the network, making the WiFi connection a useful feature - it allows access to the Android subsystem, allowing for the installation of emulators for other systems and other useful apps. You'll need a USB keyboard/mouse to make the most of this functionality. - it can import games with online scraping of correct names and custom game order. At some point, I am going to offload all the games from the internal SD and reload some or all of them using this tool. With luck, this will fix the titles and allow me to put them in alphabetical order. There's a bit of a learning curve to doing so, but if I'm able to successfully pull it off, I'll report back on this review. EDIT: Because the unit apparently encrypts and sometimes renames the files for the various games, it is necessary to supply unencrypted files when reloading with Pandorytool. Note that some of the 2p 3d games have been modded to allow 2 player use, so if you put unmodded versions on, you will lose this functionality! One other thing to add: if you need more space to load additional games, you can open up the main unit and replace the 64gb microSD card inside with a 128gb one. Interestingly, the card that was in itwas labeled "PSAOXLA Exceria 128gb," but running with various SD scan tools, I was able to verify that it was indeed a 64gb card, not simply formatted at a lower capacity. ... show more

  • Great for first time at home arcade
Color: 28890 Games Basic
A wonderful product with a lot of games to pick from. The pros. Simple and easy to set up. Many games to pick from. Bright and colorful. Search option, coin option, even favorite option to save games. Built-in speakers. Solid build. Cons There is only really one thing. Every though there is a lot of games to pick from, a lot of repeating games listing as different names or different language. For one mario game, you'll find 5 more of the same. But there is a option to remove the unwanted games/repeating. For the cost I give it a 4 out of 5 stars, if it didn't have as many repeating games and maybe a easy option to add your own games/rams to it. I would give it a solid 5 out of 5. For any first time or a arcade game fan looking to add to their collection, this is worth it. As stated before don't be shocked about the repeating games. ... show more

  • Item is not working
Color: 28890 Games Basic
The item delivered in good condition, but unfortunately it’s not working. I sent a message to store and I haven’t received any reply. I opened the console and discovered that the sd card has just 9 mb and there is no folder for games.
