The knives are great for just having an extra set around the kitchen for things don’t need that super sharp knife. These weren’t as sharp as I’d hoped, but they work for what I need when I don’t want to use my better knives. I definitely wasn’t able to cut through my meats all that well with these, but my veggies and fruit were a breeze unlike my old cheap set that was trash right out of the package. These are definitely worth having on hand and are worth it whether you have money for a more expensive brand or not. They do a good job and I’m sure with some sharpening they would cut through my meats much better than they do now. Cleaning them though is extra work. If I don’t dry them immediately with microfiber cloth, they get water stains and nothing else I wash does that. Overall, I’d purchase these again or even give them as a gift to someone who is moving out on their own for the first time. ... show more

I'm in disbelief. The quality of this knife set for the cost is unreal. I almost feel like they miskeyed the price because I wasn't expecting anything quite this good for that amount. I just needed to replace an old set with chipped blades, and I wanted them to look nice. But my expectations were blown away because this is truly a solid set, not just stylish. The water runs right off them, so I think they may have a hydrophilic coating too. These knives are a must buy for budget shoppers. ... show more

These knives are razor-sharp out of the box, and the blades should take some sharpening when needed. So that's good. They'll do the job I need them to do. However they are so lightweight, which I was not expecting from the look of them, they almost feel like the handles could very well be hollow. Also, it's good that they came with blade sheathes, especially since I won't use a knife block (seriously, y'all ever think how unsanitary those slots are??) and I store my knives in a drawer. However the sheaths feel thin and flimsy, and two of them arrived with cracks down the side. All in all, I consider this set well worth the low price, but I'm glad I didn't pay more. ... show more

The handle seems almost too light compared to my previous set.. i got used to it quickly though. These are sharp and worth it -almost 2 months in and still love them, no rust.. and them being lightweight feels normal now
