Bought these to replace my Grandson's original tires on his TST R002. The rubber is much thicker than the original tires and the tread design is great for on and off road. So for he likes them, he said they are smooth on the street but hasn't done much off road. The back tire was a little difficult to get the bead set, I used some soapy water and that really helped. You have to make sure it is equal all around the tire or else it will wobble.

I purchased 20x4 tires for RadMini 4 Electric Bike. My goal was for better traction than the original CST BigBoat tires when riding on rough trails (gravel, dirt, hills, forest service roads) as well as quiet riding on pavement. Reviews of normal knobby bike tires indicate they do not wear well on pavement, these tires look like they will have a long life even on pavement. Feel and comparison: These tires are very stiff compared to the original tires, the material is thicker in every way, these tires are much heavier than the original tires, the tread is very thick and I think they will wear very well on both gravel and pavement. Installation: These tires are EXTREMELY stiff and were very difficult to install on the rims. They did fit fine on the original RadMini 4 rims. Inflation: Because these tires are really made for mopeds (printed right on the tire) they are extremely stiff and heavy. I am running mine (75lb bike + 170lb rider) at 7 PSI so they have some give when riding on gravel. Wife has her tires running at 4 PSI. The lower limit printed on the tire is 5 PSI, but that was still too harsh riding for her. Even when inflated to 4 PSI the tires are still quite stiff and there is no risk of bottoming out. Traction: These tires are a dramatic improvement in traction on gravel roads making the bikes feel much steadier and grippy. There is no side to side squish that I had when running the original tires at low pressures. These tires also work better than the originals on sand and loose gravel. Noise on pavement: They are not as quiet as the original BigBoat tires which had virtually no tread to them - but these tires are MUCH quieter than the standard bike knobby tires. I am pleased with the relatively quiet ride on pavement. Weight: These tires are HEAVY and will impact battery life, although we have not seen a dramatic difference - so we are fine with this trade-off. Summary: After several rides we are happy with our choice and if we were going to do it all over again we would still choose these tires.

Can't say enough good stuff about these tires. Roughly twice as heavy as the ones that were on my Lectric XP 20" ebike, and yes, about twice as expensive. But well worth it. Much better ride and no flats in over a year on my 2 ebikes. Easy to mount also by the way.
