  • There is a reason why people always buy Maxxis
Size: 29x2.50WT - EXO
Great tread, look and easy install. Add sealant, fill with air and done.

  • Great all around trail/street front tire
Size: 29x2.50WT - EXO
This is one of Maxxis mid range tires. I think of it as a jack-of-all trades tire good for a variety of trail conditions. I ordered this in the WT wide trail version 29-inch. Here are my impressions Ride and grip - The DHF is a front tire so it has some impact on cornering ability and grip. The tread is plenty knobby at the sides and it provides good grip on hard loose trails. On the street, good grip as well due to the softness of the compound. The knobs are supple and movable by hand which helps in street grip. Going over curbs from parallel or a shallow angle, it slips a little due to the tread pattern. The ride is a bit harsher than some of Maxxis higher end tires, you will notice that if you have something more advanced on the rear. Installation for me went fine. It’s a wide tire, however I installed on a standard rim just fine. Most suspension forks will have plenty of room for this tire. Installed this tubeless, and had no issues with air seepage It’s a good value at the 50-60 dollar price range. This kit came with a tire lever, that I did not use. I prefer to use plastic levers on my rims so they don’t scratch ... show more

  • Amazing mountain bike tire
Size: 29x2.60 - EXO
When you get a max is tire, you know you are getting a great product that will perform at the top level and be reliably long lasting. I only use max is for my mountain bike and these 2.6 in tires are beefy and can take anything you throw at them. Add on the fact that they are tubeless ready and that’s about all you need. Couldn’t recommend this tire (or other maxxis mountain and gravel tires) enough. You just can’t go wrong. There’s a reason the winner of the lifetime Grand Prix (mens) is on maxxis. Great great great! ... show more
