Blew out and left me walking home
I mentioned in reviews that this tube popped and left me walking home about a month ago and seller seen that and contacted me with offer of full refund. Good customer service. I didn’t take it but the offer was nice.

Installed 2 / 26 inch tubes. They appeared to be better quality than the cheap originals that came on the bike. I would purchase again.

Self-heal goo is useless and GoodYear isn't what it used to be.

I am extremely disappointed. I purchased two of these tiretubes to replace some old ones. I was sold on the brand, but also on the self-heal design. I figured they'd hold up longer than regular tubes. I installed the first set and they didnt even last an entire bike ride around the neighborhood (about 1hr). Although I was fairly certain I installed the tubes correctly, I assumed it was something I overlooked. Both tires tubes were deflated and the self-heal goo was all over. I got the exact same replacements for both because I've always known GoodYear to be a good brand. I installed the replacements. This time I was extremely careful to inspect the rim to make sure there were no rough edges that couldve pierced through the tubes. I made sure I was extra careful with inserting the tube within the tire to ensure it didnt get pinched. I fillled the tube to about 80% only, to give it time to stretch. Then filled to 100% days later. Regardless of all of this, one of the tiretubes deflated and, again, the good was everywhere (see pic). The tube had the exact same explosion as the first two, near the valve (see pic). I decided to buy a different brand for the tube that exploded, but kept the remaining GoodYear tube. The bike sat unsued for a while, but today I wanted to use it. I noticed the tube was low on air, so I tried to pump more air in it and couldnt. The self-heal goo somehow got into the valve and sealed it off. As you can see (from the video), the air is not hissing like it should be. So now the tube is useless and will need to be replaced even though there were no punctures. I don't understand why this tire tube has so many good reviews. The self-heal design is useless, especially if you can only pump the tube once before the valve seals. I would NOT recommend this tube to anyone. Don't waste your money or your time. Get a regular tire tube and just patch it up if you get a flat.
