I bought a similar item in Italy from a service provided, I explained that I intended to use it all over the world, but I found out the hard way the modem was lock. I look all over Amazon but the less expensive modems had bad reviews; until I decided to give a try to this and found out it works great in Mexico with a Telcel SIM, no need to do anything special just plug and play.
