This thick canvas roll is perfect for the essential knives I use day to day- a chef's knife, a slicer, and a couple of paring knives. When it's rolled up and tied, it fits neatly in a drawer. Because the top edge folds down over the knives, rolled up it is only as long as your longest knife, so it doesn't require a lot of space. I'm not a professional chef but I do cook every day and I like to use good quality knives. I keep them sharp. I bought this for a Kershaw set (early, made in Japan, modular knife set). It fits everything perfectly and rolls up very nicely. I only wish that they would have set the tieing string in the middle, or added a 2nd one at the same place as they did the top. No worries, though. It still stays rolled tight. ... show more

Pros: its what I wanted, I like the material and that it isn't bulky, the color is also a plus. Cons: I already stabbed a whole through the case with one of my knifes (I've been having it for 2 months now) The sturdiness of the wrap and possibly the construction could use some adjusting.     • Decent inexpensive knife roll

It does what I need it to do. It is just to keep my knives safe and ready to use when I need them. I’m not a professional chef so I’m not carrying it to work in a professional kitchen all day. I think in that case I would want a leather one that would really hold up to use.
