Used this to block cold air out of a garage door and it actually worked pretty well. Definitely has a solid sturdy feel to it even with the weight of it. Only thing that I really wasn't thrilled about is they fold it up several times before sending it out, so when you unfold it, it can be a little cumbersome trying to get it straight and evened out. Otherwise a good choice.

I put this up to enclose my balcony and turn it into a 3/4 season sunroom. I didn't realize the blizzard was coming that night, I guess I just got lucky haha. Anyways I used screws through the grommets to attach the top of the tarp tot he top of my patio, and I put 2" velcro on the sides/bottom so that I could roll it up to let some air in on the hot days. So when the blizzard hit, 15-24" of snow came in over half a day and we saw wind gusts ranging from 35-50mph. This tarp worked beautifully. It is very heavy, so it is very durable and was able to withstand the storm. It kept 98% of the snow out (2% got in because some of the velcro adhesive failed) and my balcony stayed warmer then the outside. It aslo did not flap around lot in the heavy wind gusts which is a huge plus fore me since the balcony is attached to my bedroom. The only thing about this tarp that changed during the storm was that it got a nice deep clean and some of the creases came out. Overall I am very pleased with this tarp. It came at the right size and is very durable from what I can tell. It may be expensive, but you are paying for the high quality that you get. If you are like me and want to enclose a balcony, buy one of these tarps! I looked into other routes and this is definitely the cheapest, easiest, and best option.

This clear vinyl eyelet tarp is heavy. Doubled edges with rust resistant eyes every 24 inches around the circumference. Although new, I believe it will handle many Cold Windy Michigan Winters on my front porch as a wind and snow screen.

I use this to enclose my balcony for my plants to be out there during winter. It looks pretty darn good there is a seam right down the middle but it's hardly noticeable I put a picture of it up for you to see there is also what seems to be a hole patch on it I will put a picture of that up as well. I feel like if this didn't have a patch on it and a seam going right down the middle I would have given it five star. That being said it is pretty thick and even though it was folded they didn't seem to leave any noticeable creases and what creases were there flattened out on a warm day.

I bought 2 tarps after looking at reviews. I'm was trying to cover a restaurant patio for winter to keep it warmer with heat lamps. It is working so great but. The tarps are used as walls. So first off they are very very heavy. They need to open up and lay out for a good day or so. They have a ton of tissue paper with them to keep them clean. It took me about 30-45 min to fold out since so folded and heavy. I was doing this by myself. Let them sit out on your roof or outside in sun before you hang them. It will be a lot easier. They aren't exactly 8ft but almost that's why I gave it 4 stars. I would purchase again if it was on sale since these are great just pricy.

Every once in a while you buy something that exceeds your expectations. That would be this tarp. It is much less expensive than many of its peers but is heavy duty and seems quality made. It’s only been up for a day so can’t attest as to its longevity. I installed it on a sunny 80° day and the seams from being folded have almost disappeared already. I’m sure the heat has something to do with that. Pro: sturdy construction, absolutely transparent, good price point. Con: nothing really however will have to see how it lives up over time. Certainly way better and sturdier construction than any tarp you can buy at the big box stores.
