I purchased these for a quick alternative for my horses to have a shelter for the coming winter. I added an extra layer of water proof spray on them just to be extra safe. I just moved into my house and some of my horses have had to go without shelter which they aren't used to. Used these tarps to cover small frames to protect sliding door and French door so that once could walk out onto a deck. Each one of the tarps fell apart during our first rain storm. They were stretched across the frames and each frayed and then tore away from the frames. Had they been waterproof it would have been expected that the water would have run off as the frames each have a high and low front and back. Since i was not warned about a seam down the middle i better warn others. I have to use it i can't wait on returning etc. Horse hay is way too expensive to have a tarp fail. I'm doing good to get 2 years out of each tarp and it may be shortened with a seam down the middle, now. Thanks.
