I am writing about the DDRS Heavy Duty Waterproof Canvas Tarp - 6x8. This tarp is incredibly heavy duty. At only 6 x 8 ft., it must weigh 10 or 12 lbs. It is seriously (!) heavy duty and thick and rugged, I can picture it protecting just about anything one could think of. I've not had it rain on this tarp yet but I have no doubt whatsoever considering the heaviness and the feel of the treated canvas that this thing is going to be waterproof as advertised. In short, this is far and away a cut above the standard tarps that are out there. I'm not in the market for another tarp just yet but when I need another one, I will be going to this company guaranteed; the other tarps I own, and there are many, are not anywhere near the quality. Finally took it out of the package to find out it’s dirty, has green paint on it and has holes in it. I thought I was buying a new tarp to find it used was disappointing. Looks like a used tarp with yellow spray paint on it. Would not recommend or purchase again.

This is the heaviest and strongest tarp I have ever encountered. The canvas is super duty and is well sewn with strong grommets. If anything it might even be too heavy for some uses, but if you need a tarp that is very thick and strong then this is the one. The significant negative for me is that the tarp arrived dirty, stained, damp, and it smells of oil or gasoline. It was wrapped in plastic and the exterior of the plastic was fine. My hands were dirty and oily after handling the tarp. It is far too bulky to launder so I will have to lay it out and scrub it and hang it to dry. I am reducing this review to 3 stars for lack of quality control and a dirty and smelly product. ... show more
