This is a pro tripod, all the way, and built to last. With its quick release mount, it will hold anything from an iPhone (with adapter) to a full-sized video camera with standard screw mount. It extends to a standard shot height and even above my head (I’m 5’8”), allowing for higher up shots. I love the smooth action for pan shots: it works horizontally and vertically. Everything locks down as it should. I honestly believe this tripod will outlast me. It’s extremely well built and has no flimsy connections that are prone to break under normal wear. Having said all that, this is not a lightweight tripod, if you’re used to cheap $35-$65 versions. If you’re working in a windy environment, you’re going to love how stable it is. If you’re hiking 4 miles to reach a destination, it might be too much. However, if you put a pro camera on top of this tripod, you will immediately have street cred: it looks like a far more expensive, $700 and up unit. It performs flawlessly.

Bought this to use with my Canon C100 rig. Very sturdy, fluid head is great for a smooth pan. Great budget tripod for the developing photog or video producer.

I was never a big fan of the Manfrotto high priced solutions, compared with this tripod, their price is just not justified. This tripod is durable, very tall, especially when you mount it on top of a dolly and it has a nice locking mechanism to make sure the plate doesn't slide off. The cons is - you really have to tighten the nobs all the way, to prevent the legs from sliding down, however, while you make sure to do so, you can enjoy a reasonably weighted all in one tripod. The head and 2 plates are included. We're happy with it.

This tripod is all I expected it to be. After paying top dollar for name brand tripods this one is designed with excellence. Comes with a handy bag to carry. Just a lot of little extras that make it so convenient. I Love it! Oh yeah it’s a very light weight and sturdy.

I can't tell you how many tripods I have bought in my career (all the way up to multi-hundred dollar Manfrottos), and certainly many Chinese-made units in this $100-$150 price range. Well I have finally found a low-cost tripod (this one) that is comparable to Manfrotto build quality, and engineering. Particularly the head on this one - just superb at this price-point. I can recommend it without hesitation.

Its a great tripod and all. I've used it almost daily since I got it. My only complaint is that once I screw on the baseplate to my camera( doesn't matter which camera, its all the same) it takes about 15 minutes and about 100 tries to get it back on the tripod. Not sure why it does it, but its happens every time.

This is my 1st ever video tripod I ever bought other than the cheap normal dslr tripods that can hold phone as well. So far it never gave me any trouble. Easy to use. So glad that it comes with a good carrying case as well. So great full for the allenkey(hex key) that comes with it to tight the 1/4” thread. Tilting and panning works smoothly and flawlessly for me. Never had any issues. I mostly use it to record church music videos and personal use. So far this is more than enough for me. For a professional videographer this might help as well but I prefer them having little high end long lasting products.
