This box comes with the chain, a padlock, five keys, and a glove. The instructions tell you to wipe down the chain with a paper towel and the supplied glove. I used one paper towel which was black when I finished wiping the chain down, and still the chain left black residue on my hands. The chain diameter measures at 8 mm in thickness, 43 and 1/4 in in length, and it gives you approximately 21 in usable space when looped and locked. I'm not sure that I would use this chain in a area that was known to have items stolen, but this chain is definitely a huge deterrent. For the price I think it is a decent value for the money. I do wish that the chain had some kind of sleeve to help protect bikes or scooters or whatever you are choosing to lock up. I have a new bike and I'm not sure how I would transport this chain on the bike itself without scratching all of the paint on the bike. I will probably use this chain to lock my bike to my truck or the bike carrier.

Honestly this is a pretty heavy duty chain, it’s of great quality and gives me peace of mind when it comes to the security of my EBike. It’s easy and functional. It is a little on the heavier side but it shows that it will take a little more getting into if someone even thought about taking whatever you have locked. I’m not sure about how it holds up in different weather as I usually ride when it’s nice but over all, it does what it’s suppose to. It will have some black transfer but there is a piece of paper explaining why that happens and what to do! I wish it was longer but I over all cannot complain.

This is a 43" G80 grade chain that includes a heavy lock and 5 keys. The G80 grade means this chain uses a mixed metal alloy that has been heated and hardened for greater strength. See my attachments for a more in depth information about the G80 grade. The chain and padlock are heavy. See my attachments for their weights in grams. The padlock is designed to prevent water ingress with a bell shape top on one end and has a rubber gasket on the other end of the U shaped top. Included are 5 keys providing more than the typical 2 spare keys. The chain is heavy and should be strong considering it's G80 rating. The chain links welds are consistent and are of good quality. The reason for my minus one star was for the round tube shape of the individual chain links. Squared tubed individual chain links offers better cut resistance. This chain will provide good protection for most scenarios minus the most high risk scenarios.
