I’m learning to cook a variety of dishes from different countries and love thai food. I use this to make thai curry paste, wow it’s great. I purposely purchased this smaller version because I don’t cook large portions of food. But, if you intend to make larger portions of food you might want to get a larger version because this is small. So far I love it !

I’ve been struggling with a small mortar for years..never quite did the job. I do a lot of curries and masala sauces, this is making it so much easier to grind the spices..just as much or as little as I want..used it for masala and karak chai spice prep too. Awesome for really mashing garlic and ginger to a paste. All in all, a very good kitchen tool!..ph, and makes a beautiful, creamy guacamole as well..

I like that the product is nice and sturdy period It has great texture for the perfect grind. I like the size because it's not too small for a good pile of herbs, and it's not too large. Where it fills up the whole counter, easy to clean.
