Can't lie, I really wanted to be able to fold it up for storage, it works as it should, I made some minor updates like the HF worm geared winch for easier turning. I recommend mounting the bracket with the bolts left and right or staggered vs up and down so it doesn't start to move from the pressure, or in my case, mounting a bracket (with the already drilled holes) so it stays put better. Also, being able to put a drain pan or large pan and sponge underneath has helped keep my shop from stains.

I would say nothing over a small block should be on this stand. I put a 429 ford complete on the stand with a cherry picker. The adapter plate would not support the weight of the motor and bent under pressure. I hadn’t even taken all the weight of the cherry picker before this happened. I do not recommend.

Was exactly what I was looking for. Good quality. Only drawback is the handle for turning the engine is short and has no grip on it, and the packaging leaves something to be desired. Some of the pieces were scuffed. Good engine stand! 5 stars if the issues with the handle and packaging are resolved.

This thing was a very nice surprise! Packaged well so no scratches. Metal was thicker than I expected. Easy to assemble. Leaps and bounds upgrade over the cheap ones.
