Installation is already straightforward, but here’s a tip that made it even easier: take off the latching part first, then bolt the base plate in. Once it’s secured with the included lag bolts (which are heavy‑duty and grip tight), you can reattach the latch and you’re done. I used a 17mm socket to make the job easier. Overall, this is a reliable mounting kit that performs exactly the way you want it to. I highly recommended them for swings, and they seem like they would do well for hammocks, or anything that needs a strong, secure ceiling anchor.
