I am in love!! What a great product for a fair price! I have an x-small bike and was worried it would rub the tire. I put it on and it fit perfect! The break sort of guards it from rubbing the tire, and if you tighten it, it shouldn’t rub. It has a rubber coating so it won’t scratch your bike when you put the bike lock on, I can also wrap the extension around under my bike seat and fasten it to the U-lock so they are both always with me. I love the three keys! Also, I love how it has a lock dust protector since I mountain bike so I can close the piece around the lock to protect it. That is very important over time so little pieces of dust don’t destroy your lock. I am incredibly pleased. I ordered the small and glad I did! I like having the lock on my bike so I don’t misplace it and always have it on me in case I need to make a stop. I keep my keys in my rain protective phone case and have a water bottle holder so I have what I need without having to bring a backpack! I really dislike wearing backpacks while biking since they slide side to side when I ride so this is perfect! If you are questioning, just buy it. This is the absolute best bike lock. The small is for one bike, the large is for two bikes.

I used to have a chain-style lock but had my bicycle stolen. After buying a new bicycle, I needed a new lock and bought this one. I had a hard time deciding in what direction to attach the holder to my bicycle, but once this was decided the actual installation was simple. I feel like my bicycle is securely locked when I use the U-lock. It comes with a chain (I guess if I need to secure my bicycle to a tree or something similar with too large a diameter for the U-lock), but it’s heavy, so I never carry it. The key works smoothly, and I like that the keyhole may be covered to protect it from dirt. I have been using this lock for a little over a year with no problems, and I anticipate that I will be able to continue to use it for some time. *This review was made in good faith based on my personal experience with the product. The product is perfect in the sense that it accomplishes what it promises. The ulock has a great rubber cover that helps prevent scratches on your bike. Downturn 1: The piece to attach it to your bike is too small, so I had to attach it to the handlebars (steering wheel?). Downturn 2: I regret not getting one with a longer chain. This one will only work for tying one of your wheels. If you are only looking for the ulock itself I'd say it is fine and worth it. It is not too heavy, the lock works fine and seems solid.

This lock is easier to use than my Seatylock Mason 180. It comes apart effortlessly once unlocked, whereas the Mason 180 requires a bit more force and tends to snap open suddenly, which makes it more likely to scratch the frame. I also prefer the soft silicone coating on this lock. The Mason uses a harder protective covering that doesn’t feel as bike-friendly. That said, both locks can be cut with a grinder, though the Seatylock would require two cuts, which gives it an edge in security. One thing I’m unsure about is how resistant this lock is to prying, I suspect the Seatylock is stronger in that regard. Another common theft method is twisting the bike while it’s locked to a rack, which can either break the lock or damage the bike (or scooter). That’s something to keep in mind regardless of the lock you use. I bought this lock mainly as a secondary lock because the smaller size fits well around my 3" XP4 rear wheel. I also use an alarm in higher-risk areas for extra security. I'm giving it five stars but all locks just slow thieves down. Best to lock your bike in a busy area.
