Purchased for a month long trip and it worked fine. The suction cup mechanism works great. There is a learning curve for using the dials and ball joints to secure the camera / phone in place. It can be difficult to position and attaching and removing the camera / phone can dislocate your positions. The only minor complaint is that there is absolutely zero stability function for this so if you are driving a higher suspension vehicle, your camera footage may have a lot of jitter. ... show more

I've bought many mounts during my time traveling, there were weeks vanlifing in Arizona I'd buy 2 in a week and they wouldn't last, this should be your first and last mount ever needed. A year later I'm back buying another so I can have 2👍

    • ALMOST great
I really wanted to love this mount, I thought it would be exactly what I needed for my track days...ive had a lot of mounts that were too shaky and not sturdy enough to handle the tasks of hard cornering..this one ALMOST fit the bill. From a suction standpoint, this is probably the strongest suction cup I've ever used, and I've been mounting go pros to things for years. The movability seems like it should be great however the main mounting points of this mount are at the 1/4 screws that fixate the extension to the suction cup itself...everything else tightens amazing and seems to hold in place with the adjustable ball pivot points...but the weak point is the screws....a small adjustment of the camera or my phone would constantly loosen the main screw making everything flop around. This was extremely frustrating when being in a tight bucket seat and just as im about to gett on course and I hit the screen to start and it was just enough pressure to loosen the screw and flop down....if the extension was fixed to the suction cup this would have been a perfect mount for motorsports as I hoped, sadly I will be returning it... ... show more

    • Don’t leave in the car
Worked great at first but don’t if you don’t have image stabilization it’s a little jerky. I left in the car for a month and now it won’t suction. Pretty much useless now.

    • It’s alright
I changed my rating from 5 stars to 3 stars. The build quality can use some work. I’ve tighten the locking screws as tightly as possible. With a GoPro Hero 10 mounted the ball heads still moved. If these were built out of metal then it would work. Although my car is bouncy, it still found ways to slip off the locked position I wanted causing the GoPro to hit me in the head lol. The rod is too short as well, if they engineered some type of adjustable rod then it would of been fully worth the money. Sadly, my return has passed so now I am stuck with this product and I don’t know what to do with it. ... show more

    • Great value; used as sunroof mount for autocross/driving
The media could not be loaded. I needed a mount for a camera in order to record at autocross events (drive around cones in a parking lot for the fastest time). This one was long enough to hang far enough down so that the rearview mirror is not in the way. I was worried about shakiness from a long mount like this but take a look at the footage, it's not bad. This was recorded with a Campark V30 at 1080p/60fps (downgraded to Amazon video quality). You can still see some high-frequency shaking especially when I hit bumps, but overall it doesn't detract significantly from the viewing experience. For the price, it does an acceptable job. My driving, on the other hand, is a different story - this was my 2nd event, yes I know I was taking some parts real slow! ... show more
